I've been thinking about creating another deer, a doe this time. But I'm afraid creating another deer will just mess up Mellion's spells if I can't save spelldata properly. Ah, what to do, what to do. I've installed the spell saver program to my computer just in case the more common way of saving your spells wouldn't work. (I've heard people have had troubles with saving their spelldata if they use Vista.) If anyone else has used Spell saver, does it work just fine?
I'm also a little worried whether I'd actually have the time to play two deer now that it's not summer anymore and all. D:' But this doe has been in my mind for so long already I think I need to create her or I won't get a piece of mind. I like her quite a bit already, too, hahaha.
And what's more, I'd need some help in creating another deer for I don't really know how it's possible to start with a fawn again, which is kind of embarrassing. 'xD Do I just create another account for her? What if I wanted it to be underneath the same username Mellion is? Thank you for your advice whoever bothers to help me. <3
You can create another
You can also ask someone for an inactive deer of theirs to use their account. Like I have several (because I can't save spell data). But with different usernames and passwords.

0. Start up the game, running it as administrator. Get the set you want to save & exit through the esc menu (esc>quit>yes)
1. Go to computer (via the start menu) > program files>Tale of Tales>Endless Forest 3>Userdata
2. See the file within that folder named spelldata.cgr? Copy it.
3. Create a folder within the userdata folder. Right click, go to new>folder. Name it whatever you want.
4. Paste the spelldata.cgr file within the new folder
5. When you want to use the saved spelldata, copy the file from your new folder and paste it into the userdata folder. It will ask you what you want to do (copy and replace, etc.). Click copy and replace. You will now have the spelldata you saved on your deer.
5a. Be sure the spelldata.cgr file is named exactly that. No spelldata(2).cgr, or it will not work.
6. Run the game as administrator from now on.
Does that help?
