New and Confused!

Rhet's picture
I don't know how to change my CSS for my blog, if anyone could help that would be great.

Also, I know you can get different Spelldata, but I have no idea how to acquire it and keep it so that I can change my appearance after my obligatory month of being a faun.

So far I love this game and the Community from what I've been able to infer. I hope to be able to get the Zombie Spelldata and hopefully post some TEF related art when I get the chance.

Any help or tips would be vastly appreciated! I'd love to know the run of things.

You have to click the "Split

You have to click the "Split summary at cursor" button to add in your CSS. - CSS goes in the bottom box, any HTML/content goes in the top box. Be sure to keep everything on one line, otherwise the forum counts it as a break, and it wont show up right.

You can download Spellsaver to save spelldata from here

That's all I know of. Hope it helps.

Oh! Thank you so much. Even

Oh! Thank you so much. Even those two things help me out substantially. I'll have to see what I can do about making myself a CSS then. So I guess if you wanted to do a FAQ about yourself or a Bio it would have to be a separate Blog Post?

Do you know how the Tracking thing works by any chance?

Sorry for all of the questions, I like to get in "the know" as quickly as possible.

Ya, you can just make a new

Ya, you can just make a new blog post and setup a bio with all your HTML/CSS for the character.

Making a post on any blog post is considered tracking it. You can always look at your post history to find what you were tracking. On your profile, you can see the 'Track' link.

Also don't worry. I'm new also, I've just asked a lot of these questions already. Sticking out tongue

With the 'tracking thing' you

With the 'tracking thing' you don't actually do anything apart from post on the blog. When you go onto your profile and click 'track' it will show all the posts that you have posted on. It also shows if they have been updated, etc.
When you say tracking it just means that you're adding it to your list of 'tracks'

For CSS, I'm no good at explaining, but I found Unplugged's Guide to CSSing helpful. There are links there to other CSS help blogs too.

Hope that helped :]

Well actually, I'm curious

Well actually, I'm curious about the black image on everyone's account pages. For mine it just flashes different pictograms, but for experienced members it just stays on their pictogram. How do you make it so it just shows your own pictogram?
