Sig awoke and bleated a call to the forest.
She was here as she always was, at the Ruin, curled up next to a strange idol that had always left her feeling comforted in the dark evening hours.
For a few moments while her brain was still heavy with sleep, she felt uneasy as if she wasn't supposed to be in this place. As always, the feeling was quickly overpowered and broken apart by the scents and stories of the forest filling her delicate nose. She desperately wanted to know more and understand this place but...But for now, at least, she knew she was simply too small to think such big things.
Shaking the last of the morning dew from her pelt, she bounded off and let the endless forest swallow her up. If Sig had glanced back, she might have noticed that the pagan idol looked almost amused at the morning's events and that a butterfly had come to rest on the statue's serene lip.
The butterfly remained there for quite sometime after.
This was beautiful. ♥
Not too little, not too much.
Very lovely writing, and drawing too... I enjoyed this.
Simple. Beautiful. I hope to
