Though in return she will not greet,
you'll feel a little greeting.
Though her body doesn't sleep,
she'll breathe as if she's sleeping.
And cold as if she's made of stone,
though through her blood is creeping.
Her heartbeat slow,
like life was leaving.
Causes family and friend alike to worry,
weeping...
Deep in meditation,
their memories she's keeping."
~
Her heart's rhythm radiates through her entire form, pushing blood along through her veins. Skin taut as a drum over her jugular shows the beat within as it pulses. Though blood runs through the minuscule veins of her eyes, they remain unseeing as they stare ahead. Her ears remain ever-alert as she keeps herself as still as a stone statue, paralysis akin to the effect of a snake's bite taking over her body. Her temperature seems to cool, though only because of the twilight shade.
The empty space around her seems eerily charged, but that is only the perception of others. The doe holds no magic... though she does hold thought. She drowns in it as it surrounds her, melting to be a part of it. Alone, for mere moments it seems to her, the doe wrestles with *the one inside.
She wins.
The one inside leaves, leaving her feeling free of all burden. On the wind it floats away, the forest swallowing it back into the things that create upset: A bad mushroom, a grumpy animal, a biting fly... all carry a bit of the one inside. It is only if one understands how to get rid of it that they learn how to truly become free from its grasp.
Smiling, the doe sighs out loud. Her eyes blink once, then twice the lashes kiss each other. The feeling of joy buzzes through her. The doe stands again, cleansed. With a wiggle of her tail, she bounds off into the trees. Leaving the bare hill behind, freed of the one inside.

the one inside is a term used to describe all negative thoughts that a person may carry. May you all be freed of "the one inside" and find inner peace.
This was beautiful, thank you
