Yes, you see, I have no idea what I'm doing. I copy/pasted my coding right into the body of the blog post. Man that's what you're supposed to do, right? ><
1) Make sure you have 'input format' set to 'BB Code'. You can find/change that setting by clicking edit and then scrolling down above where the categories selector is.
2) Always make sure you are using a cut when posting blogs that contain coding! Otherwise your codes will 'leak' onto other blogs or pages on the site. To make a cut, you can follow the steps in this quick tutorial. Be sure to use a cut on any future blogs too!
Ne, could I ask someone for help with this? I made this pretty almost glitch free bio page but when I paste the coding in here, it only shows up in the format this page is already in? I'm going to stick the code in there so you guys can see what I'm talking about.
Aha, I can tell you what went wrong. On TEFc you have to have all of your CSS in one line without any page breaks. So on the pastebin file, go and delete all of the breaks so that all of the code is in one line. It will look big and clunky but it should work better and then you will be able to know if there are other problems.
Looking through the CSS more carefully I don't know that a lot of it will show up on your page because a lot of it just refers to classes and Ids of divs, which are things that go on your page. I kind of think that this CSS template was probably originally for a blank page?
The trouble with this site is that you aren't working with a blank page and a lot of the CSS code has to come in and cover up what is already on the page. For instance, your code sets the body background color to white, but the part of the page that is the body is hidden behind a bunch of stuff on the page, like the brown part here and the sidebar. Because of that, CSS templates for blank pages can't work well on this site without heavy modification.
She seems interesting! (; I like how you painted her name and symbol.
Though I don't visit the community as much as I used to, after seeing your deer's bio I would like to more...if only I wasn't so busy with school!

There are some CSS templates for this site you can use if you want (here is one for instance), and there are some good guides on this site for how to work with all the stuff that is already here (Basic CSS how-to so you can get started, list of references, how the blogs are structured so you can change anything on the page). I will also be happy to help you out along the way and if you want to do something but don't know how, feel free to ask.
