Losing control of your deer…

*example* You have your deer go eat a pine cone..but instead of doing that your deer runs off..usually straight to the pond..and it’s almost impossible to get it to stop. I have found ways to make it stop, but geez,It’s kind of creepy.

yaah noticed that with jack

yaah noticed that with jack oO it is indeed creepy... I leave him sleeping somewhwere, went into the kitchen /bathroom/ whatever... and when i come back he stands somewhere miles away from where i have ''stored'' him...
... that is usually followed by one of those epic-glitches my game sometimes do...



and then it happens what unplugged wrote... but for that i have the explanation that the game, even when running in the background still gets the 'commands' from mouse and keyboard so... it isnt _that_ creepy.

My deer runs all over because

My deer runs all over because the game runs badly, so sometimes my clicks don't register or sometimes because the cursor is moving slow and jerky across the screen I end up clicking the wrong action. But! I've noticed a lot of times he turns to face other deer without my doing anything to make him turn. I'm not sure what causes that. Deer will move around him and he just starts spinning like the needle of a compass...

@quaesting: Are you carrying a spell at the time? Cuz that automatically makes you face the deer closest to you if you hover over it, I've noticed.

Terpsichore is possessed or something. It wouldn't surprise me. You should see me sitting here clicking with my computer fail and going 'No! Go that way! Grrrrr...'

I've noticed often when

I've noticed often when playing Darkweaver or Zerg, that even if I have my deer sit down and switch pages for a moment, they'll get up and run elsewhere. |D

Half the time Dark automatically runs to the/away from the ruins, and Zerg beelines for the lake when I'm not controlling them. o.O
Seriously, they have minds of their own. XD

My computer's not even really

My computer's not even really capable of that... If I'm gonna play TEF I pretty much sit down and play it, or watch the screen while I'm drawing. Running other programs at the same time gets tricky.

Sometimes if you go to eat a

Sometimes if you go to eat a pinecone but don't get to it in time, your Deer will head over to the ruins, as that's where the pinecone originally came from. It's trying to get the pinecone still!
