the gods are in the forest~

I have sent our forest gods a letter telling them about our recent problems within the community. I did not point out any names or such. But here is what they wrote in return, copy and pasted right from their letter:

Thank you for alerting us to this.
At the moment there's not much we can do about it since we're not at
home. If people can't behave themselves, we'll turn off the server.
Until we can fix the problem.

Im happy that everyone is getting along in the forest, but we should listen to the creators. Im sure nobody wants the server shut down >:

In response to the thread posted on the support forums as well:

"Since this is a way of playing with the game outside of the game's narrative, I'm afraid we cannot approve of it. As you can notice in the reactions, it breaks the illusion of the Forest. So basically everyone who is manipulating Spell Data is ruining the game for other people. Which is not a very nice thing to do.

We will implement a method to prevent this in the future (sad that we have to do this instead of adding fun things to the game...). But we don't have time for this at the moment. So in the mean time, please respect the other players and stop hacking the game. If you can't do that, we'll simply turn off the server until we have time to fix the problem."

I'd prefer it if everyone just stopped hacking, including with the whole antlerless thing, just stop hacking alltogether :l

I don't think anyone wants the server to be down. Hopefully this will alert everyone who was hacking or wanting to hack into the system to stop.

I have to say that I did try to attain the blood red pelt, but failed. I am no better nor worse than any other player here in our forest. {I tend to fail a lot xD}

I also think that this is the best to stop this...

unfortunately I also tried like you to get the red pelt... and failed (I'm really ashamed of myself that I tried that Hex-thing) and it's now my fault that I have problems...

I cannot sneeze antlers and masks anymore and when I try it with the pelts then all pelts go away an my deer is naked. And always when I log in my hole set is gone...

I think I've deleted something of the spelldata in the hex-programm... Don't know if you can help me but I'm now In real trouble (yeah I know it's really my fault)... I also reinstalled TEF but it's still the same...

Sometimes I coul really hit myself... -.-
