Login/Logout Problems...

Hey, is anyone else having the prob where you sign out and when you sign back in all of your pelt/mask/antlers are back to default... <.< I know I'm doing something wrong cuz' every once in a while I'll sign in with my pelt mask and antlers. Sticking out tongue is anyone else having this problem?

Reply: oh! okay that explains... thanks! lol I was like "its gotta be cuz I don't log." :/ heh I am such a tard sometimes >.<
(for some strange reason I need to specify a valid author to post a reply... I have no clue...)

if you actually log out of

if you actually log out of TEF, then your set defaults.

if you open and close via the x at the Bottom right, or by using the menu and selecting exit. Then your set will save.

To fix that, you need to make your display name the same as your username.

Okay, well, I wonder who came

Okay, well, I wonder who came up with that stupid name(sarcasm) <.< ah well ehem... okay I went to this account... is it okay to have a second account? I mean I went to "Name your deer" and when I tried the login info here it worked so ehem... yea... this is my fawn's account(too bad she has to grow up)... anyways... I did what you said clicking the button in the right bottom corner, I did not disconnect, I did not log out, I did not pass go, I did not collect 2000$, oh wait wrong game xD... yea -_- it took me this long to get a pelt... and when I came back to the game my argus pelt was gone... the deer is an adult, just so ya know I'm not talking about a mini-deer lol... I srsly dunno what I'm doing wrong... I'll go try logging again...

if you log out your set reverts to default.
exit with the gray x in the actions bar.

also

make sure you set TEF as your screensaver or it will not save

>.< dude... okay I didn't have it set as screensaver. thanks man! I'll see if it fixes now.

Edit: SH***!!! ah... my sister, got me the whole gazelle set(I rly didn't want it but she insisted) and I clicked the little x in the bottom right corner of my screen located on the deer' action bar... and when reopening the game I waited until after all of the players loaded and it still won't show... I have the screensaver activated... my OS is Windows Vista, I didn't disconnect, I didn't log out, I didn't right click the tab and left click close, I didn't left click the close buttom on the right top corner of the screen... I have no clue what is wrong... I feel stupid and pissed off... I have only ever gotten it to save my pelt/mask/antlers once that I can remember... is there anything I should know about that would prevent my pelt saving?

If the x at the bottom right isn't working, try exiting through the Quit section in the menu.

If you have more then one

If you have more then one deer you will have to save that deer's set by putting the Spelldata in a seperate folder. Then when you want that set you replace the one in the orginal folder with that set's spelldata.

The creators are working on adding a feature where you can save a set through the game itself. But that will not be ready until they release the next update.

I searched around and found someone say something about Sluggs SpellSaver, and after a bit of looking found a link to the page... I downloaded the zip file... but someone said it doesn't work with the newest version of TEF(or I missed something)...

um not sure... atm I was

um not sure... atm I was reinstalling the game and I found a file that has 3.4 in the title and looking around on the website I can't find a place that you download it so... I'm thinking its so outdated that its not up for download anymore... :/ ehem I'm thinking thats what I had...

ah I see... well I reinstalled the game... under 3.30 and it has a bit of trouble starting up, while I cannot install 3.31 what so ever Sticking out tongue... and say this all turns out, that should automatically solve all of my pelt-saving problems? Laughing out loud

okay every time I open TEF it

okay every time I open TEF it tells me something about not being able to locate something and after clicking ok(the only button you can click) through about ten of these it either opens TEF or it doesn't do anything... and the 3.31 patch won't install because it can't expand shell... I'm really not sure what to do...
Edit: Okay, so I got it to open(I still go through the ten "could not locate"s though) and wonderful news! I got it to save my look! Laughing out loud I just have to use the quit button... Thanks for all the help guys! I really appreciate it!
