If you tick the 'connect automatically' box, you should eventually connect whenever you open up the game.
The reason you can't log in right now is because you're not connected - you need to click 'Connect' ^^
Sometimes that happens when I can't connect to the network... usually it comes up on its own though :\ If it doesn't I just restart and try again.... otherwise I have no idea /lameanswer
