The Light

I'm not dead. Again, I've been studying anatomy and such. I was browsing the fan art section a few days ago and was truly inspired by this beauty and began to scribble. This drawing came surprisingly easy to me, but the front legs might be a bit too stubby. (critique always welcome)

Again with my boring art. I promise I will make true fan art for all of you soon. I'm developing my style and improving anatomy so that I can draw your characters to the best of my capabilities. ♥

Im quite upset that this has zero comments... :c because its very lovely
Golden lines make almost everything pretty and I can see why you named it 'the light'
I can tell by the brightness of the lines that the deer is facing the light. c: its face is the most illuminated.
reminds me of a sunset's glow.

Beautiful art and I can tell you've been practicing. Better than I can do, heh.... ^^' I also really like those back legs and butt (lol). Also the way the belly is shaped.I could go on and on about all the beautiful things about this piece... c: im still saddened that people took the time to look but not even have the decency to comment... :/

Keep improving <3

I adore this. <3 You've improved so much. It's wonderful to see your art here again.

Pretzil: thank you so much... your comment was very sweet.

Jala: I tend to get that a lot, truthfully...
Thank you, sweetie ♥ I feel like I've improved, too. I don't reference from photos any more (haven't for a while), unless im really struggling with a certain thing. But I try to learn by trial and error. I feel like things like that help reinforce and improve my style of art.

I adore your anatomy sidewalk. To be honest this drawing isn't that boring, at least to me. I enjoy looking at it.
