La enjoyed investigating in The Ruins, but became thirsty. She ventured forth toward the sound of running water and was rewarded with a pond and a stream. She drank as much as she could before prancing upstream to see where the water was coming from.
She was surprised and pleased at once when she saw a rock with a face like the three at The Ruins (which she had come to think of erroneously as
her Ruins, despite the fact that there were many other deer who spent their time there), although this face was much, much larger. It was so grand that it dwarfed her, and for the longest time it was all she could do to stare.
The fawn headed south next, back past the pond and through the willows, as she liked the way their strings of leaves trailed across her head and back. She saw a hill and climbed it to find two rocks with faces. These twins were very different from those at 'her' Ruins, but she felt for them a similar reverence. After a thorough examination of the two faces, she returned to her chosen home.
I love your "investigations"
Thank you--they're the basis
