well the answer to that is that the pond has been disabled in your game by messing with the files

Now onto the Summer soltice thing:

I'm not sure when the next abio will be but check out the tale-of-tales website as michael and auriea will most likely put any information about an abiogenesis on there first.

The idol will also stop crying if you have turned down the 'Nature Detail' slider within the game menu
