I really have no use for this, but it's done and I like it.

Well idk, if anybody wants to use this (or wants to try and edit something in this hell of a code), or ask me about a specific part from this (like the right-aligned sidebar or something)...
I'll probably just put this back in my pocket though. The coding isn't very user-friendly and the layout too specific to be used in multiple ways.
~highlights lol~
right-aligned sidebar
it's possible to put the sidebar to the right and move it anywhere you wish
resized logo
smaller and less in-your-face
text-selection colour
free pinecones if you noticed, selecting a text doesn't give you a boring grey background anymore! (unless you use IE, that is)
Here comes the part for **~~`~*´~*ME*~`*~´~~** because I'm **~~`~*´~*LEARNING*~`*~´~~**
x cross-browser in theory, not tested
x no loss at multiple resolutions
x CSS3 might not work everywhere
x lag/longer loading time due to massive amount of CSS
x header links don't work due to being covered by logo
x ^ breadcrumb links, partly
x preview won't work, related to leaf hiding???
BLEMISHES
x more space from left side
x edit/reply button size changes at hover
x colours on some small unimportant stuff
*hyperventilates and
Oh my gosh I never thought of a right aligned sidebar...this is so awesome.
O: Wow, this is pretty neat
Wow, this is pretty neat in all honesty. <3 I love the transparency. A lot. And the use of colors is really nice. :3
This is pretty neat. *pokes
*pokes the sidebar*
~Wonders if it could be placed below comments...
Or in the center? If a box
Unplugged, do you mind if I make a testing blog to try this code out?
You know that centered
And sure jala do whatever you want with this, that's why I put it up. :) The sidebar related codes are only in the first css 'batch' - anything in "#wrapper #container .sidebar {cssstuff}".
Anddd thank you guys for your interest.
Thanks very much
A centered sidebar really would be interesting though...cool to look at too, I bet. Reminds me of how newspapers are printed out.
/makes the blog
Woah, this is soo cool!
Ohgod awesomesauce. You even
Haha yeahh it's a bit like an
I just noticed a flaw in this-- the top links (('Game info' etc)) don't work so don't mind me updating this maybe.
Also does text size look alright on everyone's screen? It's small and I don't know if that makes any visible difference for some.
This is amazing :'D But in my
I love the opacity gradient of the border and the placement and size of the logo, if you don't mind asking here where's the code for that?
[e]: But something strange happens when I press preview. The text doesn't appear in the «preview comment» box. Is that also predicted?
Could you screenshot that for
The logo:
img#logo{height:50px;}
And the blurry border:
#wrapper #container #center .right-corner .left-corner{-moz-box-shadow: 0 0 10px rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.6);-webkit-box-shadow: 0 0 10px rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.6);}
Welll it looks a bit confusing but pay no attention to anything besides the 255s here, that's your RGB-colour value. You know when you use some art program to pick a colour, you get those three numbers for Red, Green and Blue. So the first number is R, the second G and the third B. I got them all up on 255 so I have a white glow, if they're all on zero it'll be black. Also make sure that both of those rgbs here are the same (one works for one browser, the other for another)
And yes I I'm also having that preview issue on another blog of mine so I think I know what causes it but I don't know why. xD Thanks for pointing that out, I didn't catch it here.
It matches your description
Thank-you very much, I'll try to figure it out&hearts
fuck yeah
...I know I'm doing a stupid
#wrapper #container #center .right-corner .left-corner{background:#254b4b;-moz-box-shadow: 0 0 10px rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.6);-webkit-box-shadow: 0 0 10px rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.6);}
^This doesn't seem to work. Should I remove background:#254b4b;? It just defaults the wrapper color.
Tested it, works for me. :x
This is where it is inserted,
*/#tabs-wrapper{border-bottom:none;}#wrapper #container #center .right-corner .left-corner{background:#254b4b;-moz-box-shadow: 0 0 10px rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.6);-webkit-box-shadow: 0 0 10px rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.6);}ul.pager {color:#565656}ul.pager a{color:#7D3E3E}ul.pager a:hover{color:#00ffff}.comment{border:none;}tr.even, .comment.even{background:#bfbcc0;font-color:black}.comment.odd, tr.odd, tr.info{background:#ffffff;font-color:#BABABA}
I don't know, it still works
This CSS cripples my firefox
I do like the tiny header though heehee.
Tried out some of it
I always love your CSS experiments~

Iam experimenting with your code so i have a question:
the code for the little reply button is this right = .comment div.links{background:#402a01;} ?
But if i change the colorinfo it does not work for meh? Still is brown.

It works for me. Are you sure
What browser are you using?
Alternately try putting "!important" after the colour.

Can you still tell me what browser you had that issue in? It helps me to improve the CSS and make it work for everyone.

I got Opera!
And in this case i also want to tell you that css just slows Mozilla down, in Opera, no problem.
I also realized that some codes are differently pictured in Firefox.
In Opera everything works fine.
A note on the CSS3
They're adding that to the next IE, so like it will be compatible there eventually...though I don't think any of the ones before have compatibilty for it, though I might be wrong.
The current IE Versions don't

In Safari the selection has the color of the background and the font doesn't change, it only fades behind the selection color.
I usually use Firefox and Safari so I didn't get what you meant with the grey selections until now :p
Before you mention, yes, I have a bunch of browsers B) -shot-
Track of love.
Heya Unplugged, I LOVED IT!
Kat thanks you so much for that help to her bio ^^
ah and also, how you make the lighter-coloured wood part (dslakhg, i just wanna know the name :/) wider? it goes a bit narrow in my blog, ya know xDD

change the width percentage to something bigger. It will probably make your sidebar overlap it so you will have to adjust this number too until it fits:
.sidebar{float:right;position:relative;bottom:62px;right:32% ...
i hate to bother you but i
my body is not growing with my entries anymore, in fact at some point it just cut them, like they ARE in the code section but not showing in the preview.
