Name: Juliet
Pictogram
Gender: Female
Species: Wild Reindeer (Rangifer Tarandus Tarandus)
Size: Around #16
Birthday: 13th of November, 2010.
Age: 5 years
Acts with: #99CC66
Love: None yet
Appearance: She has grown into a beautiful young doe. Due to her harsh first winter in the forest, she is quite a bit smaller than a regular reindeer doe would be at her age. She will most probably never reach the size she's supposed to be, though this doesn't seem to bother her.
Around her neck, she carries on a thread a small piece of what looks like a tine from an antler. The item is precious to her, and she never goes anywhere without it.
As it is now winter again, she has a white-grey coat.
The Winter set: Secretary pelt, Real deer mask, Noh antlers, mini spell
The Summer set: Kabuki pelt, Real deer mask, Noh antlers, mini spell
Please note: She is deaf, so she will not bellow nor can she hear your deer calling for her in forest. You will need to get her attention some other way. ~_^
If she looks like she is listening, she is most likely concentrating to "listen" in her own way by feeling the vibrations of the ground. However, this will only work for a short distance and does not help her identify deer - just to know if there are others nearby.
Juliet is deaf. Therefore, she also does not speak with words. Her perception of the world is gained through her other senses such as scent, sight and body language. She will use body language to try and communicate with others but as her understanding of the events around her is limited, her actions may be difficult for others to understand. She is, however, able to feel the vibrations in the ground if other deer are near enough, so she may be able to tell that you're approaching even if she does not see you.
She has no way to learn deer-names, so she will give them nicknames which she then connects to certain scents and appearances. Nicknames can be seen after your deer's name in the family/friend - list.
Due to her situation, she is a cautious deer and also a little shy. She is curious of others and may approach on her own, but her trust must be gained in order for her to feel completely at ease around you.
Appearance-wise, she is nimble and quite a bit smaller than other does of her age. Despite that, she has good control of her body and her movements are elegant and graceful when she wants them to be. She is nowhere near strong and she knows it, thus it is more likely for her to run from confrontations than face them. However, she has been known to stand up to her dearest friends in their time of need - and having been quite persistent with it as well.

@Kumiko, Hi there! =D Yes, I
Hi there! =D
Yes, I think they met too. I'm terrible at remembering pictos I haven't got written down, though. Sorry. ;D
Cypher and Saxophone made her really nervous yesterday. Mostly because she'd already caused (at least in her mind) one fight that day and knew that Jack was willing for more to protect her. She just wanted to be alone. She's usually very shy, but kinder to others than she was yesterday.
@Moonlitstar,
My paaaaagee... ;_;
Hello.
Yesterday was really interesting. XD
I don't think Juliet will come very close to Saxophone in a while..>_>
Poor dear ;A; Sax has nothing
She wasn't the only one to do
She just wanted everyone to stop fighting and leave each other alone.
But all's good. She wasn't hurt too badly and I had an interesting time, for sure. ;D
While moon has cleared up her
Things just got out of hand unexpectedly.
Thanks, Kumiko. I've been
I've been following the conversation over at Jack's bio too, so I knew that much.
Things got out of hand multiple times yesterday, so it was something she expected when the two showed up. She'd managed to stop Cypher and Jack earlier at tha playground, but she's just one small doe. When things get out of hand, there's not much she can do.
I hope they get to meet again at a better time. =)
I don't take anything that happens in the game personally, nor do I blame characters for acting like they do. So all's good, don't worry. ^_^
It has been a long time since
It has indeed. Way too long.
Juliet is usually more timid, but when Jack's around she feels braver. If she'd be alone, she'd be a lot easier to startle or frighten.
I had a fun time with you and Sonne (as Jack has nicknamed the other mini with us). Thank you for the company!
Track. Sorry if Kestrel
Hi, and thank you. ^_^ And
And it's okay. She's very wary around deer/characters she doesn't know that well. Big birds (and bird creatures) are rather intimidating to her. It took her a while to get used to Bright Eyes, and even though she's seen Kestrel around a few times already, she's still wary.
She didn't really scare her..she's just cautious. Sorry. ;D
She'll probably get used to Kestrel little by little if she keeps seeing her around more.
^^ its all good I understand.
Pretty sure I am tracking
I have to run a set of keys up to my co-worker to use while I am on my "mini vacation", but it was nice being able to spend some time with Juliet today. Cypher highly enjoyed their stroll through the flowers. When he placed some on his antlers and approached her, it was his way of "picking and offering flowers to the pretty young lady". I was surprised he even frolicked a bit; I guess it was his way of trying to show her he poses no threat.
Hopefully they can have more peaceful meetings in the future.
Thank you for your company.
Juliet was really wary of him provided what happened a while back with him, Sax and Jack. But she trusted Bright Eyes enough to approach and see what Cypher was like. To her pleasant surprise, Cypher was really nice - and she even got him to play with her and Bright Eyes. ^_^
He's such a gentleman (gentledeer?). She really enjoyed the walk as well. He succeeded in calming her down, at least. Let's hope they can meet again soon.
She's curious of him now instead of being only scared.
Sorry she was so unresponsive. My game was lagging something horrible and I had frozen gaps that lasted for several minutes at a time. =P I hope that next time I'll be able to play her better.
As was he. At first when he
At first when he saw her from afar looking a tad nervous, he felt the need to interfere but quickly realized who she was. Instantly, his mind began to race as he questioned if it was even acceptable to be near her, but he could not just let her be alone. Especially when Bright flew off.
She welcomed to follow him at any time she wishes, though do expect him to be a bit cautious around her. He means her no harm in the slightest - putting her in danger would not be the gentleman thing to do - but he's still afraid of what Jack would do. It's why as soon as Jack appeared today, he backed off.

I was really glad to see him
Hehe, I had to take a small detour, since I'm pretty sure that Juliet doesn't really understand the concept of a hat but since it was just perfect for him, I kind of ignored the small fact and just went with it. I'm glad you like it. ^_^
It is ok. A lot of deer and

Cypher's mind wandered as he rested beside the smaller buck and injured jackdaw. Becoming so preoccupied with his own thoughts, he did not hear the soft footsteps approach them. Crystal blue eyes widened at the sudden touch to his side, startling him out of his trance. His head snapped towards the source. Body relaxing at the sight of the white doe beside. Juliet was it...?
Flashing the doe a welcoming smile, he held no objections to letting her closer. Pleasantly surprised to see her being fascinated with Migisi. "'Ello, dear," his deep voice rumbled his vocal chords, sending steady vibrations throughout the base of his neck and chest. "Ah, I see you have taken notice in my dear Migisi here."
(Sure. ^_^ Sorry if the
Juliet had been wandering the forest. She wasn't particularly looking for anything - just enjoying the feel of it after having recovered from her small cold. Seeing Mr. Hat close by, she'd headed right over to him. Some of the past experiences still haunted her mind sometimes, but the stag had proven himself to be trustworthy, and pleasant company. So she didn't hesitate to go over and greet him.
She had bowed but gotten no response. Maybe the stag was day-sleeping? Like White sometimes? She settled down after briefly investigating the company Mr.Hat seemed to be with. The little bird she'd seen sometimes - and the other deer here seemed to be napping. She leaned a little against the bigger stag, enjoying the feeling of warmth in the chilly air. He seemed to notice her now and she offered a small smile and a nuzzle as a greeting. Hi, Mr. Hat. How are you?
She sensed the deep rumbles from his chest as he spoke to her, indicating towards the small jackdaw. He felt..calm. She sniffed the small bird curiously, gently nudging it with her muzzle afterwards. It was a gentle greeting to the small creature.
(No worries. He and I have
(Sure thing, take your time.
Her petite frame had a sense
Gulping down his existing anxiety and inner turmoil, Cypher managed to put himself at ease. Her calming presence was very welcoming after a weekend of frantic panic. It was nice to sit peaceful without needing to fear everyone around him and the crow. He gave a relieved sigh, unintentionally pressing against her more.
"Poor thing seems to have gotten herself banged up fairly badly in some sort of row," he mumbled in attempt explain Migisi's injuries to the doe; still unaware of her deafness. "But nonetheless, she seems to be doing alright now." He shifted attention away from the jackdaw and back over towards Juliet. His eyes clearly showing how exhausted he was, but he hid his distress with an inviting smile. "I assume you have been well, dear Juliet?"
The small doe sat, her
Mr. Hat seemed calm..but there was worry too. For Small bird? Or the other deer? Both, maybe? But he was relaxing now, and that Juliet accepted with a happy nod, smiling gently as she felt the other pressing against her in return.
Her happy smile faltered a little as she noticed the other trying to communicate with her. Ah.. what was he trying to tell her? Some of it was related to the small bird, that she could guess. But now he was looking at her. And from the way that he was looking at her, she had a feeling that he wanted her to respond somehow. Her ears fell back slightly, her uncertainty coming through. How could she explain?
Tick tick tick The faint
The small doe seemed to be rather interested in what he had to say a moment ago. Sitting quietly and smiling as she leaned in closer towards him while he spoke. Her gaze glued to him; intently watching him with inquisitive eyes. Never saying a word, even when addressed, and only replying to him with simplistic body language just like jackdaw at his side... "Oooh," His ears perked and eyes widened as realization hit him hard, causing him to look away with cheeks quickly flashing a rosy color in embarrassment. Feeling incredibly foolish for not catching on sooner. The hints had been there but were subtle enough that he did not notice them in their brief, past meetings. He just assumed she was a shy doe with a lively personality, unaware that all the contact she offered was not just apart of her daily mannerisms, but were also her way of communicating.
"I apologize, my dear," he quickly said while snapping his head back towards her. He continued to speak to her despite discovering her inability to hear him. Though she was still capable of 'hearing' him and still responded to him, so why would he treat her any differently? "I hope my ignorance did not offend or upset you." Cocking his head to the side, he shot her a soft grin again. Hoping to put her at ease and loosen the discomforting tension his stupidity may have caused.
(Awwh..he's so sweet.
The smallish doe had tried to think of a way to explain but had not come up with anything, not with such short notice. The others were different from her - they had abilities she didn't have. But how could she convey that to others when she herself wasn't altogether clear on what that difference was. Much less how to describe it. And now her lack of a response had upset the other.
Or had it? The stag went from stern contemplation to something quite different. She thought she saw understanding in his eyes before he turned to look away. Did he know? Her keen eyes had spotted the slight change of color on his cheeks and that brought a small, amused smile on her face. The small doe softly pressed her muzzle against the fur of his neck, nuzzling him once more.
When she stopped, he was looking at her again. The soft rumbles continued, but it was different. The look in his eyes told her that she wasn't expected to respond anymore. At least, not in his way. She was relieved that there was no disappointment in his eyes - some seemed to shun her once they realised her inability to communicate like the others. Mr. Hat was still here. And for that, she was grateful.
A soft smile later, she reached up to playfully tug the other's ear - it was her way of saying 'no harm done, I still like you.'
(Sorry for the late reply. By
Her touches were gentle and soothing as she lightly 'explored' him. His body stiffened with her second nuzzle, just slightly startled by the unexpected contact as his emotions still ran high. However, his muscles relaxed as he felt her muzzle caress his chest - feeling foolish for his edgy nature. He returned the gesture by softly stroking her head a few times. Using his cheek and chin to nuzzle against her before feeling a tug on his ear.
The little doe pulled down on him. Not enough to cause harm but more than enough to certainty catch his attention. Glancing over at her, his brow arched as he tried to decipher her playful antics. Surely, she was trying to tell him something but he was unsure of what exactly...
"Are you bored, my dear?" he continued to shower her with pet names, even if she could not hear them. Rising to his feet, Cypher quickly checked on the jackdaw resting in the ferns beside the tree. She seemed at ease and relaxing, maybe he could slip away for a moment to cater to the doe's desires quickly without disturbing her. He stepped around the pair and stood some distance away behind them. Eyes dashing between Juliet and Migisi - feeling the need to still keep a close eye on the sleeping crow. With a smile, he turned and trotted towards the flower patch.
(No problem. If you're busy,
Mr. Hat was a bit jumpy. Her touches seemed to both calm him and tense him up. It was a bit confusing to her but it wasn't the weirdest behaviour she'd seen in this forest, so she let it go. A soft, happy, giggle-like sound could be heard when he returned her affection. That felt really nice. The ear-tugging had only confused her friend, but at least he didn't seem upset anymore. To her, that was the most important thing. He'd get it one day.
She pulled back a little when she felt him move. He got up on his feet, looking even taller to the small doe than he normally did. The tilting of her head conveyed some of her confusion now as she tried to understand what he was going to do. Had he seen something? Her eyes followed him as he walked around them. Eventually she decided to get up as well when the craning of her neck was no longer enough to keep him in her sights.
She stretched before gracefully turning to look at her friend. The small bird was sleeping peacefully near her. Shouldn't someone watch over her if they moved away? Or were they not going far? He moved away, the small doe curiously following close behind. As usual, she was looking around from time to time, just to make sure that no one would manage to surprise her. Flowers? What was the stag up to? Curiously she followed him to the patch and lowered her head momentarily to inhale the sweet scent. Cold or not, these plants never failed to smell wonderful.
Glancing over his shoulder,
Juliet eventually trotted up to his side, stopping at the edge of the patch. She lowered her head and in took the sweet aroma of the tulips blossoming in the sun. Such a strange it was...Seeing flowers looking so lively and vivid in the winter afternoon but still as beautiful as they were doing the summer. Tilting his head downward, he began to tangle his antlers in the vines and pulled. The flowers clung around the thin tines as he turned again towards Juliet, somewhat tipping his head towards her as iff to offer them as a gift.
Feeling reassured by her
For the briefest moment the doe just stared, taking in the sight. Mr. Hat wore the flowers well, she noted. Her slightly surprised expression melted into an appreciative, gentle smile. For her? Mr. Hat was a very kind. She nodded her understanding and reached up to take one flower from him.
However, unlike she initially planned, she didn't keep it for herself. She reached up a little more, carefully manouvering the little flower into his vest's pocket. She was rather fascinated by this 'additional fur' her friend had..but for now it served as a perfect tool to convey her thanks. She nudged the pocket a little bit with her nose, just to make sure that the little plant wouldn't fall. Nope - safe and sound.
Hi, tracking Saw Juliet in
Hi, and thank you. I remember
Juliet's not the only reindeer in the forest, I believe. But I haven't really had the chance to find any of them (or have not known who they are). I agree, they are. Somehow so beautiful and tough at the same time, surviving in harsh climates and in long winters. ^_^
I hope to see you again at some point so they can properly meet.
Little Blue Eyes.... I adore
Awww... It's so nice to see
However, she has stumbled onto a rather unique situation. Mr. Sanguine has turned Migisi into a doe for the fun of it. She is still unconscious from the transformation process; Cypher is trying to get her to wake up and care for her.
A RP is underway. As an OOC note, I don't want you thinking he's mad at her or you're not welcomed; just we've already been in the works of this when Juliet showed up and with all due respect, would like to complete it. So if you see them acting strange, it is just the RP playing out.
Oh, I had a feeling something
We won't mind, she's just enjoying the company..and feeling a bit worried because Small Bird is..not really a bird right now. ;D
But it's really nice to see you both. ^_^
Same with you! I just did
I just did not want her to think he was ignoring her for that is obvious not the case. He's rather relieved to see her, just in a panic over the transformation.
Edit: What a brave, dedicated little thing she is. ._. <3
He owes her so much for helping him defend Migisi, and looking after her as he tried to get an animal spell to spammer on the trolling dancer. She did not get hurt in the scruff, did she?
She's grown rather fond of
She did get a few cuts and bruises she'll definitely feel later on, but nothing too bad. She just tried to keep everyone from fighting and decided to try and lure the other deer away when they didn't seem to understand otherwise.
I must say that the trolling dancer was really annoying, though...>_>;
Yes, I figured it was someone
All that mattered to him was getting the group away from the two does. One (Migisi) falling unconscious and not wanting Juliet to get harmed, which seems to have happened. ><
I can feel his guilt rising within him. He cares for her. So naturally he does not want to see harm brought to her, and he also promised Jack that nothing would happen to her. He knows a few remedies that would help the cuts heal quicker if you are interested.
I was going to ignore it as
Juliet cares for them both as well (and might have a small crush on Cypher, but that doesn't need to lead anywhere..~_^) Getting hurt defending her friends is a rather new experience for her, but one that she sort of welcomes. At least she wasn't completely useless, like she usually feels like she is. ;D Poor lad doesn't need to feel too guilty.
Having survived a winter mostly on her own, she has some knowledge of herbs as well and has been eating some from the pond whenever she's needed them. But I'm sure that if he has something a bit more effective, it would be much appreciated.
(Oh really now? How cute and
And you say for him to not feel guilty but sadly, it is going to burn him up inside. He's naturally a very paranoid, anxious individual and tends to be rather emotionally clingy to those he cares for. He feels as if he's failed them if they're hurt when he is around; after all, it is his job to protect those dear to him - which Juliet has been.
He's felt guilty over their first horrible encounter and doesn't like the distress his presence creates when Jack confronts them. So discovering she was injured because of him is only going to worsen how he feels.
The clothed-stag huffed as he stood before the two does. Back arched with his head lowered; sharp tines pointed outward in defense while he scratched at the ground. He had no idea who the intruder was and had it been under any other circumstances, he would have greeted them but not today. Oh no not today...Emotions were spiked and panic pushed adrenaline through him. A snarl laid hidden beneath a snort as he watched the newcomer vanish over the horizon.
They were alone. He could relax again.
Stiff muscles eased as Cypher rose his head. Blazing blue eyes scanned the tree lines to ensure the wander was not lingering out of sight before he turned back towards the unconscious Migisi and loyal Juliet. Glancing over at her with a surprised look in his eyes; he never had expected her to sit beside him throughout the whole night as she had, let along expected her to aid him as she head.
"You have some spunk in you, eh my sweet?" a hysterical chuckle bellowed in his throat as he fought off the stress. Still talking to her as he spoke to anyone else, not truly demanding a response but just speaking for the sake of an attempted connection. He stopped before her, eyes brushing over her as he searched for injuries. "Are you alright, dear? That bloody bastard did not hurt you, did he?"
(It's all his fault for being
Poor Cypher. ;_; Juliet has long since forgiven him for their first meeting. If she hadn't, she wouldn't come near let alone trust him so much. Growing up with Jack has left her rather accustomed to seeing scuffles and whatnot, but it has also taught her forgiveness and how to read other's emotions. She is not one to hold a grudge. ^_^ At least not for long.
-------
Nervous and still shaken from the sudden events, the young doe watched as the stranger disappeared from view, hopefully for the last time. She didn't understand why the stranger had acted the way he had but she was really glad to be rid of him. While Mr. Hat made sure they were safe, she carefully looked over the unconscious doe for any injuries.
Noticing movement from the corner of her eye, she lifted her head up. Mr. Hat was looking at her with an expression she couldn't quite understand. Disbelief? Relief? Surprise? A little confused and aware of the attention that was suddenly on her, she smiled at him reassuringly. It seemed that they were safe and alone once more. Her heart was still racing a little due to having fought off her own fear for the sake of her friends, but seeing Mr. Hat laugh and relax was having a calming effect on her.
The young doe relaxed, now becoming aware of the ache in her body. Her left side hurt more, but it wasn't unbearable. The cut itself was hidden underneath her thick winter fur but she could smell the blood from it and feel the ache it caused. Some smaller cuts were present on her right side as well but they didn't bother her. Bruises and scrapes weren't dangerous. Just uncomfortable. Mr. Hat was still looking at her, trying to communicate with her. Offering the stag a smile, the young doe stepped forward to nuzzle her friend - to assure him that everything was alright now.
What a sweetheart ._. Migs
Juliet has often been
(To be honest, she kind of surprised me as well - she isn't normally quite this brave and will usually hide from conflicts instead. But Migisi couldn't defend herself, so I have a feeling she just acted on instinct to protect the one who needed it the most.)
I'm glad she was of help, though. ^_^
(Well, she's probably the
Awww....Nothing wrong with small "herds". It's quite an honor to be included in it.
And I shall reply tomorrow or later today; it's going on 7am and I haven't slept yet. Words cannot form properly in this state of mind. So I'll answer when I'm more awake a bit later.

Okay. I need to go as well for now. School calls. It's 2pm here and I need to get going.
Thanks to both of you, I had a nice morning with Migisi and Cypher. Even despite the small drama, I had lots of fun. ^_^
The doe slowly approached
"Are you hurt, my dear Juliet?" thinned brows arched over his worrisome look. Looking her over more intently as she remained close to his side. At first, he saw nothing but could smell the salty scent of blood lingering somewhere from around them. A few open wounds were covered his chest and neck, but there was something different about this aroma. It did not smell like his and grew stronger when the doe neared. Instantly, the stag's lips thinned like his brows; frowning as he allowed her to settle to his side and began to crane his neck to get a better look.
Gently, he ran his chin over her sides and back searching for a tender spot. Pleading silently that he was mistake and that the doe had not been hurt.
Worry hidden in the calm.
Injuries were a weakness - that much she had learned from her time in this forest. And as such, she rather hid them the best she could rather than allowed others to know about them. Mr. Hat was persistent, though. She momentarily considered stepping away from the stag's gentle touches but stayed still in the end, thinking that she could hide her aches.
Appearantly not. The small doe tensed visibly when those gentle touches passed over the smaller cuts, and the larger one on her left side made her wince a little. Not a lot, but it was noticeable if one was alert for such signs. She took a step further away from him and gave him a small smile, intending to distract him from his search. She's fine, see? Let's worry about Small Bird instead?
(She is awake and somewhat
The small doe resisted against his tough. Her movements subtle but stiffened body hinted at wanting him to pull away. Then she winced. The huff of air being sucked in through her clenching teeth alarmed the "not-so-clothed" stag. Pulling his ears back while worry surfaced in his eyes.
Before him, she offered a smile. Masking her pain behind an innocent glance. The corner of his lip tugged, causing him to give a half-smile in return. Surprised by her strength, but any happiness that could exist within his face vanished. Guilt now took over; it was his fault that she was hurt...Just as it was his fault that jackdaw was in her deranged condition...
He was failing everyone around him, wasn't he?
"Here. Allow me, my dear," giving her a bow, he directed her towards the vegetation growing in the ditch not far from where they stood. He had spoken to Herla in the past and had met Darcy who offered him so advice on treating wounds. He had been capable of carrying for himself and a few friends in the past; now should be now different.
(He's given his vest to Migisi as a blanket and gave her his shirt for a pillow. Poor lad is all natural now. :3)
