A long time ago in the year 2010, a young fawn with ASD had discovered a peaceful world, known as "The Endless Forest," A game like no other. He immersed himself as a deer avatar, curious of his surroundings in the tranquil forest. He travelled all over the Forest visiting the monumental landmarks and seeing their natural resources. A place near the stone bridge and pond lies a mushroom circle cascaded by rays of sunlight glowing next to a field of Hyacinth flowers. He calls this place, home. A name was given for his strong sense of power for observing things with his invisible treasured multi gems in his eyes. A gifted ability that he can identify players for miles through the heart of the Forest. His name is Jeweleye.

Origin and Early Life

Born on May 29th, 2010, Jeweleye was introduced as the second generation of players in The Endless Forest. He was delighted to have a pictogram that symbolized his name and for his place. Jeweleye was raised alone with his younger brother, Octavius Jeweleye II (jeweleye2), who was kind and compassionate but reclusive. He was devoted to Jeweleye for being his protective guardian. Octavius nicknamed his older brother, Julius, as a formal name, similar to his, that came from Latin origins. Jeweleye's nickname, Julius, is associated with Jove, The Roman god of the bright skies and a lyrical name for the planet Jupiter. It means to have wisdom, vigor, devotion to Jove, and intelligence. Both the young Octavius and Jeweleye learned how to interact with each other. Octavius felt that the Forest was a safe haven for them. He was concerned about the many unknown deer out there in the wilderness. Octavius warned Jeweleye about a large group of ferocious fighters known as "The Wild Bunch." They were the roughest and toughest fighters that championed over their territories against other brute fighters of the Forest by inviting them into rutting competitions. They were like Gladiators trying to win over their precious land. When the time came, Jeweleye was ready to set out on a calm and prosperous voyage out into the Wilderness. He gave his farewells and blessings to his younger brother, Octavius, who remained reclused in the Old Oak Tree. It was his safest place to meditate and later became his throne. Octavius's pictogram resembled a small man made of 3 basic shapes (a dot circle, square, and triangle) inside a large oval. He is known to be Jeweleye's closest relative, his younger brother. As Jeweleye left Octavius, he began his odyssey into the wilderness.

When he first saw the numerous deer roaming through the Forest, Jeweleye knew was not alone. He was keenly shy to meet other great players of that time. Jeweleye was drawn in by the unique characteristics of their pictograms (reminding him of the Alchemic-like symbols.) He was fascinated by these pictograms as they were like universal signs calling to him. Despite his younger brother's warnings, Jeweleye attempted to say hello to the wild bunch of players, most of them liked to run around, but they did not say hello with no greetings. They just ignored him. Most of them were fierce fighters and they were not tame. They were rowdy and they liked to do ruts for sport. It left poor Jeweleye in despair to find a friend who can help him. As he couldn't find anyone who is friendly, he found a refuge of tamer mothers with their fawns who were curious about him and were friendly despite Jeweleye having no costume appearance.

With the help of these kind players, young Jeweleye learned about the way of casting Forest Magic to other deer. He was excited to try on all the sets, given by the fawns. The group befriended him as they played around, frolicking and dancing in the forest. Jeweleye also enjoyed chasing players who were going all over the Forest finding another to befriend. He later gave flowers to the fawns as a thank you gift. They honored him for keeping his first Forest Magic. Years passed by and Jeweleye matured into a stag. When he returned to the Forest, it became nighttime. In the dark woods, some of the deer were lighting the forest passage with their bright candles in their antlers, guiding others to a nocturnal party. Jeweleye realized that by having candles in his antlers meant for him to have strong faith upon others. He learned that the candles only appeared on the holidays of Easter, Halloween, and Christmas. He waited until Easter 2013 to receive his candles of faith.

The following story continues Jeweleye's Odyssey with the encounters of his 5 beloved deer friends. They are no longer with us today and they are not forgotten. Here, I tell you the story of my dearest friends and how they shaped Jeweleye on what to become.

I. The General: A True Master of The Forest

TEF-Gustiro-Pictogram-2-01

Jeweleye kept watch in his sunlit mushroom circle every day finding new players who were running around. With no one to interact, he stood there as a sentinel gazing out beyond the Forest into the blue horizon. Some new players joined in to his circle to say "Hello" to lonely Jeweleye. He was also greeted by curious ones too. One day while searching for unique pictograms, Jeweleye found an unusual one that resembled a frowning face. He was curious about this pictogram and went over to its location to investigate it. In the deeper part of the forest, Jeweleye encountered a large buck deer wearing giant red horns, cow skull mask, and a Kabuki pelt. He was one of the fiercest fighters that fought from other ruts in the wild bunch and looked like an untamed one. He was like a commanding officer that came out from the war. Jeweleye was shy to approach this ominous fighter but as he got up, he was tender and sweet. He invited humbled Jeweleye into his spot and gave him a warm welcome. This gentle giant was the great Gustiro "The General" He knew every player in this forest, and he knew Jeweleye as well for his encounters. We became first friends on our brief visits. Our pictograms of the same generation were nearly identical to their characteristics. With great honor to this titan warrior, Jeweleye hailed Gustiro Master of The Forest.

As time went on, Jeweleye saw his master, Gustiro, appearing in the Deep Forest only a few times every year. One day, The General gathered in a group of other friend soldiers of his and made his own team for the rutting competition. They welcomed Jeweleye as a guest of honor. The Annual Rut Tournament occurred every season until the year 2023. The General and his regiment participated in several of these tournaments. One of the moments Jeweleye witnessed in the rutting competition of 2021 was his master preparing for a rough battle with another mean fighter of the Wild Bunch. With such aggression, Gustiro had a passion of fighting with other ferocious bucks. He nailed all of them in multiple dodges and angle of attacks. With his giant red horns, The General was one of the strongest fighters in the rutting tournament. He championed among the fiercest of all fighter stags in the Forest. That is how The Great Gustiro earned his decorated metals of honor in becoming "The General."

When General Gustiro retired from serving in the Forest, Jeweleye imagined his place in becoming a park honoring his name. A gathering spot where everyone, especially the veteran deer of his regiment, would spend their time for contemplation. He would never forget the Great Gustiro for being his first friend, a true "Master of The Forest" and a legendary fighter.

II. The Owl Buck / The Guardian Angel

TEF-Comen-Pictogram-2-01

Years have passed by, and newer deer were introduced into the tranquil forest. On a summer evening, Jeweleye found a group of deer who were unaware of what to expect. He gave a warm welcome to them and showed the resources in the Forest. Upon their pictograms, Jeweleye was always curious and fascinated with their styles. From his past he didn't know their names, he could only remember their stylish symbols floating above their heads. As he helped the new players to receive their sets, Jeweleye noticed another pictogram that was more than a universal sign. The pictogram resembled the number "8" engulfing a jagged spiral at the bottom and connecting to a bow tie at the top. This deer was keen to meet Jeweleye, she wanted him to cast Forest Magic sets onto her body, until she found her chosen appearance. Her pelt was pure white as snow, and her face was shaped from a barn owl. Earlier, she received the candles of faith on Christmas Eve. Jeweleye was more than ever kind and grateful to this beautiful lady. He fell in love with her. She was the most precious friend of Jeweleye, and his first beloved true friend of all. Her name was Comen "The Owl Buck". She loved to take Jeweleye on a slow walk through the forest, Comen enjoyed a walk under the stars and loved to interact with other great deer of the Forest. She knew some friends who were the kindest deer and introduced Jeweleye to them: Those names (I can only remember) were Urschanabi, Cu, and the beloved Flyleaf. On days when Jeweleye was stressed through hard times, Comen would come to his circle to console him with warm cuddles. She was like a guardian angel to Jeweleye who was always there taking care of his comforts and worries. It was the happiest moment Jeweleye had, and their friendship grew strong. But one day, Comen had to say goodbye to the Forest and to her dearest friend. She had to move on towards her destiny. It broke Jeweleye's heart that she left without return. He will always remember Comen as for being a precious friend and for being his "Guardian Angel." Her last appearance in the Forest was on November 2nd, 2019.

III. The Mad Doctor & His Associate

TEF-R-Fenty-and-Tics-Pictograms-1-1-01

After the loss of his beloved friend, Jeweleye entered into a deep depression for months. He went back to his normal routine of keeping his mushroom circle, watching the pond and stone bridge, alone. He could only daydream of Comen being right there for him. One day, Jeweleye decided to take a long walk, imagining her taking him on a journey through the calm forest. As he continued to stroll through the Forest, Jeweleye bumped into a mini deer duo who had twisted minds. They served under the new order of the Wild Bunch. They were also followers of the annual rutting competition. These two little devils met Jeweleye on Halloween 2018. The so called "Mad Doctor" wore a Secretary Bird pelt and a cow skull mask, He had no or invisible antlers. His pictogram resembled the shape of a stethoscope. The other wore the decorated "Day of the Deer" pelt with the same mask and peacock antlers. His pictogram appeared to be an abstracted "K" with a hook at the left end and knots flowing on the right side. The mad duo were thrilled to have him in for his scheduled appointment. Jeweleye shared his stories about his beloved friend and how he felt remorseful loosing her. The two mini deer then started to rough play and do rowdy frolics. They taunted the grief stricken Jeweleye. It made him very mad that he had enough of this nonsense. The two devils would then stick their sharp cow skull horns into Jeweleye's skin, injecting a powerful drug that would forever change his mood. It cured his depression but the drug, with its permanent side affects, made him very aggressive. Jeweleye fought back against the taunting of the mad duo, but they were excited and happy that their cure worked. Surprised, they promoted him in becoming a new member of the Wild Bunch. The two mini deer that cured Jeweleye were the craziest and twisted brains of the forest. It was the abominable Doctor RihannaFenty "M.D." and his Associate, Ticcitoby. These two insane players befriended Jeweleye and taught him some defense techniques like swift maneuvers for a rough combat. They later invited Jeweleye to do a jam session of frolics as they danced in front of the Abiogenesis. As they performed their trio concert, upbeat jazz music flowed inside Jeweleye's soul and into the souls of Dr. Fenty and Ticcitoby as well. We formed our little band and made a comedic smash hit. To Jeweleye's imagination, we were like Paul Whiteman's Rhythm Boys. (Note that this clip came from an old musical from 1930 called The King of Jazz)

For the Roleplay (I made up during our frolics): Jeweleye as Bing Crosby, RihannaFenty as Al Rinker, and Ticcitoby as Harry Barris.

Jeweleye enjoyed participating as a member in their little band of frolics. They would repeatedly do concerts every time including an encore special on Halloween parties. As weeks passed, Jeweleye felt that he wanted to look cool. He grew tired of his fleshy appearance and decided to get the rarest set that was only obtained by a special deer at that time. As Jeweleye played along with "The Mad Doctor" (RihannaFenty) and his Associate, (Ticcitoby) he found a defaulted naked deer in the distance casting the "Day of the Deer" pelt onto another fellow player. His pictogram was from the 1st generation. He is some kind of a Wizard, Jeweleye thought. He jumped up and said a quick hello to this Wizard. Reluctantly, the defaulted naked deer casted many spells onto Jeweleye until it came that the "Day of the Deer" pelt was selected. The Wizard offered him if he wanted a special mask to wear, Jeweleye then accepted his offer. He attempted to get the sugar skull mask for its jeweled flowers, but ended up with the ominous bloodcry mask. The Wizard hailed this new form to Jeweleye for its powerful ability. His eyes appeared invisible but held a stronger ability for his vision. With his new form, Jeweleye felt like that he was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel of the new order. He thanked the Wizard deer for promoting him. As seen by two witnesses that saw the action, both the Mad Doctor and his Associate were jealous of his new appearance but excited for his promotion. They later invited Jeweleye to their new group of ferocious fighters. These professional combat warriors were tested with their strength and abilities for rutting. They were quite rowdy like the first ones in his childhood. Knowing that Jeweleye is a member of the Wild Bunch, they were kind and friendly. One of the great fighters he met (remaining active to this day) is a big fan of Jeweleye's set. He wears a grey pelt, Beluga mask, and Orca finned antlers. His pictogram resembles the letter "T" with its stem bent like a hook. The new fighter welcomed Jeweleye with dignity and invited him to play a rut game, knowing that he can use his aggression while fighting. This great fighter that befriended Jeweleye was Kadoropp, "The Kinetic Soldier." He was curious and wanted to spend time with the fully decorated Jeweleye. Kadoropp would often come to his mushroom circle, keeping Jeweleye a lot of company. She would later invite him for another run around of playtime.

As months passed when Jeweleye spent time with Kadoropp and the other fighters, he noticed that The Mad Doctor, RihannaFenty, and his Associate, Ticcitoby, gave up on their experiments and vanished from the Forest, realizing that they have done their duties. Later that day, Jeweleye witnessed the Mad Doctor and his pictogram transforming into a different deer in his inventory collection. Dr. Fenty first turned into his cold-blooded Fiancée who was full of hate. The new pictogram was striking to see and her appearance was a lot similar to his pelt and candles, despite that she wore a Golden Butterfly mask. The Fiancée wanted no interaction with Jeweleye and wanted to be left alone. She became an enemy of Jeweleye. The Mad Doctor himself also morphed into a dozen deer and pictogram appearances, each with different personalities. His Associate, Ticcitoby, wanted to spend time alone as well and got separated from the Mad Doctor. He later left to hang out with other fierce fighters of the Forest. It appeared to Jeweleye that his crazy relationship with the Mad Doctor and his Associate was over. He thought to himself, maybe they were born with pure evil in their souls and perhaps they wanted to go their own ways. He would never forget what they have done to him in becoming a fierce fighter and protector of the Forest.

IV. The Twin Arabesque Sentinel

TEF-Vendetta-Pictogram-1-01

As time passed, Jeweleye was once again alone but looked majestic in his new appearance. He attended multiple gatherings like the rutting competitions and participated in being a wild card for the fighters. He met some familiar faces in the crowd and hanged out with them, including his very first friend, Gustiro "The General." With no one to interact, Jeweleye went back to his mushroom circle to contemplate. With his powerful ominous mask, he can detect any pictogram from an older generation to a newer generation by its shape and characteristic. Each month, Jeweleye recorded the deer pictograms he encountered in his memory. He memorized each symbol like a log book full of constellations. One evening in the autumn, Jeweleye found an elegant pictogram that resembled as a capital letter "N" dwarfing over an eclipsed planet and its two solid moons. To his curiosity, he decided to investigate it. In the Enamel Ruins, Jeweleye met another sentinel deer that was lonely. To his surprise, her appearance was identical to his set, only her antlers were full of blossoming poppies down to her hair. She was majestic and beautiful. Jeweleye felt that he could give this lady comfort with a warm surprise to his appearance. So he kept her company. With warm comfort in the cold air, the "Twin Arabesque Sentinel" got up and gave Jeweleye a big thank you before leaving the Forest. She thought it was sweet for a kind player to wear the same appearance as hers to watch over and protect her. The next day, Jeweleye saw her again. That time she moved to the stone bridge overlooking the pond. It was directly across from his viewing point in his mushroom circle. He would later go over to the bridge and comfort her some more. Weeks later, she would appear again in the same spot. When the twin deer appeared again, she would invite Jeweleye to go for longer walks. Like his "Guardian Angel," Comen, the Twin Arabesque Sentinel enjoyed going for a stroll around the pond and into the Birch Forest. The twin deer didn't share her name to anyone, she wanted to be anonymous like a spy. She secretly whispered to Jeweleye that her name is Vendetta. She was curious where Jeweleye lived, it close to her location. During Christmastime, Vendetta would come to his circle to await for the kind Jeweleye. He was pleased to see her again, later she invited him to go for another walk, a walk under the stars. The two majestic deer celebrated a Merry Christmas. Every occasional week, Vendetta appeared on the bridge waiting for someone to comfort her. Jeweleye was one of the only few deer to keep Vendetta company. During nighttime hours, Jeweleye lit the Forest passage with his bright candles of faith, escorting his new love. His candles illuminated Vendetta's blossoming poppies in her antlers down to her pelt. He imagined dancing with her under the moon, feeling the serenade of nocturnes flowing through their hearts. We were like two majestic soul mates paired together for a tender romance. Both Jeweleye and Vendetta gracefully watched over the blue pond of tranquility. When Vendetta had to leave the Forest, she gave Jeweleye a goodnight kiss on the cheek, bidding him a farewell.

Jeweleye's Dedicated Successor: Widmung

102-2057

On April 20th, 2017, The Forest introduced a new generation of pictograms. They were the fifth generation. Jeweleye was fascinated to see the brand new wispy-like pictogram designs. He witnessed the first dozen fawns appearing with their new symbols hovering above their heads. It sparked a new era of deer characters for the next generations to come. As more deer joined, Jeweleye knew that some players, like Dr. RihannaFenty, had an entire collection of characters. Jeweleye felt that his Odyssey was coming to a close, so he decided to create a new deer that would pass his legacy of pictogram hunting. Into his imagination, Jeweleye travelled into the listening world of classical music to find a name for his new deer. Among the many works of the great composers from around the world, Jeweleye selected a unique name that originally came from a love song or lieder. The work he selected is a song cycle called "Myrthen" Opus 25, composed by the Romantic era composer Robert Schumann and transcribed for piano by the great Franz Liszt. The first track of the song cycle is called "Widmung" (Op. 25 No.1 / Liebesleid S.566) It is one of the most beautiful compositions ever written by these two great composers. The new player with his elegant wispy pictogram was named and selected. On October 4th, 2017, Jeweleye introduced his new offspring into the tranquil forest. He became known as "The Forest Guide," The Fawn Whisperer, The Bringer of Forest Magic and "The Deer of Dedication."
Jeweleye named him, Widmung, the German translation of the word Dedication.

His Odyssey Continues On

TEF-New-Jeweleye-1-5

With the rise of his new successor, Widmung, Jeweleye looked back into what he had become. He dearly missed his beloved players, knowing that they have moved on towards their destinies. Many deer from his generation have disappeared from the Forest. Jeweleye along with his younger brother, Octavius, are one of the few deer remaining from the second generation. He questioned to himself, What would the future of "The Endless Forest" look like? Would my older friends return after a long decade? and When does its support end? As more years passed, he waited for his old friends to return. Nobody except one good old friend had returned back in the Forest. With his new deer, both Jeweleye and Widmung continued to assist new players who were desperate in need for Forest Magic appearances. They made friends along the way every month. It became true that Widmung passed Jeweleye's legacy of finding new pictograms and helping those deer in need with assistance. Widmung so loved the tranquil forest world and his friends he made on his journeys. Jeweleye made a blessing to his successor, Widmung, as a leader to the new deer of the 5th generation. Jeweleye felt that his retirement was nearing but he decided to continue making new friends along with Widmung.

The recent months from last year following into today, Widmung befriended notable deer that shared the beauty of the Forest with their artworks. Such great and beloved players like Fjara, Rindea, Fernelescent, Eris & Saater, P, and Hoodie, have shared beautiful art to everyone.

In the Forest, Jeweleye was nearing his 15th Birthday. One of Hoodie's beloved deer characters, who made a return to the Forest, befriended the aging Jeweleye. It was the sweetest doe that shared warmth to everyone and nurtured new fawns as a mother. Her name is Missy "The Earth Mother." She lived close to Jeweleye's Sunlit Mushroom Circle. Her place is in the Blue Flower Field in the Birch Forest. She stated that:

Jeweleye was the first deer to welcome her back into the forest. i carry that over to Missy too, and Jeweleye still remains special to her, as a welcoming guide into the forest, her first friend upon return, and as a kind-hearted stag that welcomed her into his mushroom circle.

Such a kindhearted deer like no other lifted Jeweleye's spirit, brightening his deep pure soul. He honored Missy as his most beloved true friend of all.

Jeweleye hopes that his Odyssey will continue with new discoveries he makes, remaining on an endless journey through time. He also hopes that most of the veteran deer, including his 5 beloved old friends, would return back in a resurgence to "The Endless Forest." There is no end to his voyage through time in the Forest. His Odyssey continues on into the future, awaiting for new arrivals as he watches the world go by.

Appearances through the years

For his first appearance in 2010-2014, Jeweleye wore the Great Argus pelt, Kabuki mask (for his majestic roar), and candles on his blue antlers. He was striking for everyone to see. Jeweleye then discovered that the set he was wearing was common to receive in the forest. He wanted a collector's edition of a set that most players wore for special occasions. On Halloween 2014, Jeweleye received his Zombie pelt and cow skull mask from the BZD for his second appearance. (This set would later be used for Widmung.) Some of the Wild Bunch recognized him from his beginnings and were friendly to Jeweleye. He was glad that those fierce players befriended him. In 2019, when Jeweleye spent time with "The Mad Doctor" (RihannaFenty) and his Associate, (Ticcitoby) he found a defaulted naked deer casting the "Day of the Deer" pelt onto another fellow player. His pictogram was from the 1st generation. He jumped up and said a quick hello to this Wizard. Reluctantly, the defaulted deer casted spells onto Jeweleye until it came that the "Day of the Deer" pelt and bloodcry mask was selected for his new and current appearance. Thanks to the Wizard that casted him the spell.

Behavior

Jeweleye has a habit to keep guard in the sunlit mushroom circle. It is his favorite spot in the forest. He feels that this mushroom circle protects him from other fierce fighters of the Wild Bunch. It acts as his shield/bubble of security. Sometimes, to his imagination, Jeweleye would daydream of that mushroom circle as being like his house, monument, or a launch pad. When fellow deer interact with Jeweleye in his circle, he invites them to feel welcomed to his mushroom circle. Some would invite him to go on an adventure through the Forest for a playtime. Jeweleye would often leave his circle to find other deer pictograms to investigate. Also, he would often get invited by others to stay for a company in another area in the Forest. Sometimes, Jeweleye gets bothered if another stranger enters and takes over his sunlit mushroom circle. Jeweleye would check on that deer who sits in his same spot. If it's a fawn, Jeweleye would cast Forest Magic onto the young deer or change him/her to a different animal, from the power of his mushroom circle, to get his attention. He doesn't want to force those players out of his circle, but to greet him with a warm surprise.

Jeweleye is considered to be a calm, loyal, kind, wise, and protective deer, unless he gets provoked by an untamed one. If he's invited by a great player or "Master of The Forest", Jeweleye would kindly serve as their bodyguard for protection and comfort. He will always treat them with respect. However, if a mean deer bullies or taunts Jeweleye, it would make him very aggressive. Jeweleye does not tolerate taunting, this upsets him. It is a sign of aggression and disrespect. If that situation worsens, in this case, Jeweleye would get humiliated and will fight back towards the mean deer. He can fight to ward off the mean brute, or he could back off from that bully if he wants to be left alone in peace. Jeweleye can also use his aggression if another friend of his is being hurt by an untamed fighter. He doesn't want to hurt all of you, but he doesn't appreciate the rowdy behavior.

Jeweleye has a deep pure soul in his heart. He cares for everyone who want to be loved. He brings the Forest World peace, comfort, and happiness. Jeweleye has a fascination with pictogram symbols that appear everywhere in the Forest. He gets lucky enough to find a unique pictogram of a fellow deer who would become his beloved friend. Jeweleye records every deer pictogram and keeps a track of them in his log booked memory. He imagines them as thousands of stars cataloged in his mind of constellations. Jeweleye is always fascinated with everyone's pictogram styles. From his past he didn't know their names, he could only remember their stylish symbols floating above their heads.

Thank you everyone for interacting with Jeweleye for all of these years! 15 years and going! This is still a WIP, more art and photos will come soon!
