LMAO ITS ALMOST BEEN A WHOLE YE A R since I've updated or been active here. Sorry but not sorry? I guess. I kid you not, I'm almost out every day of the week because of uni and my social life, I can't remember a single day when I've been able to sit down at my desk and been relaxed enough to play TEF lol.
I still think of you guys a lot though, I hope you haven't forgotten how dumb I am. <3

Wow, I have been really inactive everywhere online. I often come to TEFc to lurk briefly, but even then it's not to the same level of attachment I had a few years ago. I'm not active on skype anymore either - I've moved to Discord!
Pretty much every night since uni's started I've always gotten home pretty damn late compared to when I was in high school - I think it averages 6-9pm, so I barely have time to think about my online life when I need to attend to so many things outside of it. I hope that didn't come over sounding like an excuse.
I've talked with a few people about this but I've been feeling really, really detached from most things, mostly because I think university work doesn't allow much space for much else. Because of that though, my art production and inspiration has dropped to an all time low, haha. Even if I carry my sketchbook with me everywhere I go, I barely touch it and I doubt I've drawn digitally for a few months, save for a stale WIP. It's a little frightening, seeing that art has always been a constant passion of mine, despite everything else that's happened around me.
Erm. So I think that was a convoluted way of me saying that I've become distant to this community and its seriously genuine, awesome people the same way I've become distant with my art. I'm not sure whether I'll feel like picking up an art tool even if I have free time, and it's the same for talking and making friends. Thank you to the people who understand and continue to support me thoughout this, though. I'm surprised my lack of communication for weeks on end still doesn't discourage your heartwarming welcomes but I'm very grateful for them.
18/06/17
I haven't drawn digitally for what feels like so long, university is keeping me tight by its side like a noose. By Friday though I'll have finished all my assignments and handed them in, so perhaps you'll see more from me around that time.
But until then, I hope you are all staying healthy, keeping well, drinking lots of water and again, staying healthy. Take care of yourselves!

Guys guys, this is important I want a character which is super fluffy and puffy and also is half onion like if you hurt them you'll cry whether you want to or not
09/02/17
boy oh boy I've done it now guys.
FOr some unknown reason my tablet has stopped working. I.e, will not light up, won't respond. Legit I've tried every solution I've come across - changing usb ports, changing cables, uninstall and reinstall drivers, restart PC, waitING, even
Doesn't work. This is the pits, since art has always been a strong obsession of mine, hands down. Fair enough, I can work traditionally and if I'm desperate I'll use the mouse but the agony of not being able to create and experiment is starting to gnaw at me already.
Heck.
24/12/16
Hey guys, sorry for my almost 0 presence anywhere. I didn't realise moving house would be this exhausting, phew. We still don't have a fridge, pots and pans or eating utensils so right now we're limited to eating out or bringing back bread and stuff.
My PC isn't set up yet either so TEF activity is kept at a constant 0. Hopefully that'll change soon though!

sOoOOoOOO
GUYSS my atar came out today! (the atar, for those who are not australian is the rank that determines whether you can enter your applied university courses)
I got 92.35, which means I'm in the top 7.65% of the students in my state which is.. ok?? My preferred course 'Visual communications' has a cut off mark of 93 though. GOOD NEWS, if you get top marks in a subject relevant to the course you can gain bonus 5 points, which is what I did with visual art.
SO HOPEFULLY THIS MEANS
I got accepted into my preferred course/??? (fingers crossed I don't jinx anything)
15/12/16
So my final examinations results came out today!! I actually forgot they were sending them out today via text so when I woke up in the morning and looked at my phone I was casually like, oh sweet, somebody texted me I feel wanted, but it was not to be. Didn't do badly, didn't do well. Most of my subjects save Chemistry and Visual Art were in the high 80's. Chemistry was my worst at 81 and Art was my best at 95!
So far, a lot of things have been pointing me to continuing my artistic career so I've put as my first choice for university offers a course called 'visual communications'. It's kind of like graphic design but for a client/purpose. Things I'll learn over the three years include typography, web design and I think basic animations, so there's that. Hopefully I can find some ways to show you my future assignments and projects as well!!
I've also found a really close friend who wants to move out of her house very soon, and while I'm still pretty apprehensive about living so independently we've plans to earn enough money to buy a small apartment closer to the city where our universities within the next few years. Wish me luck, guys, I love you all!

definitely a shy person, I think. I don't like to label myself, but I've been told I'm shy, and I do feel that I am.
bun. darling bun.
a) Dunno, haven't got that
b) Yes. : < Painfully so. Oddly enough it often makes me babble, though (nerves), so sometimes it doesn't show.
1. Pasta, salad and gouda
2. I think I'm a little shy. I kinda have a hard time starting conversations.

2. I do very much so ;n;

1) wheat porridge! 2) i don't
2) i don't like the word shy much. i guess i wouldn't consider myself shy, just anxious.
1) I have no idea. Haven't

They're little watercolor drawings. <3
Oh my god. Shoot me for not
Shoot me for not noticing this sooner, because I absolutely adore them! Thank you so friggin' much, it's such an honor to be the receiver of such art.
I hope it wasn't too much effort to find the right colors to paint with, and it's so nice of you to draw all my characters!
Thank you, Tuo and Kohva!

3. Yes. Because then it gives Owl!Charru something to do in the early morning hours.
I'm really glad you like
It wasn't too much effort- I've got a bunch of paint. My dad always forgets that I've already got paint, and gets me more every christmas. I'm slowly being buried in paint. Halp.
1) Rain... and... wet earth
2) No words, just pictures.
2-extra) Bats are mammals. Mammals lack scales (those that have 'scales' [such as pangolins, or porcupines with spines] actually have modified hairs), but have fur/hair. Feathers are (edit: possibly) modified scales (edit: or evolved alongside them, and at least share proteins with a reptilian ancestor) (
I believe I read somewhere once upon a timeEdit: I did but I'm a dinosaur so things have been updated). Therefore, they lack feathers and have fur.3) 'Kay o3o

Aivilo:
Down to earth, I see. XD
Do you think you could describe the pictures in your own words? For me, 'river wolf' reminds me of Rose's 'wolf' in 'The Path', and a pond full of pike.
Waningg:
Ooh, I've never really smelt that before.
Cool beans, I guess I'll be doing more of them, then!

Sodaa:
Ooh, I like the way you've described the fog feeling, now that you say it, it does feel like a pin-prick. I'd attribute it to the cold droplets of water in the air.
And that a good question. B]
OOH TRACKSIES

Quote:Question 1 Have you had
Ugh I had this super weird dream that woke me up at about 1:30 this morning. I was with this other person, and we had to like... hide a rainbow from this creeper dude using portals. And he was stalking us. And there was something about old train paths through a forest and that was the best place to hide the rainbows because they wouldn't suspect them being there because that's where they were looking? idek. But I woke up when creeper dude walked through one of our portals and found us and we were like FUUUUU.
Constantly :I
Ohey I wanna do this too
Yes.
I only remember the end. My dog was suddenly really scratched up and bloody and there was blood all over the floor and I woke up screaming.
Yep.
I am pretty sure its because I started to play Viscera Clean Up Detail the night before. e_____e
Question 2: Is there a song stuck in your head?
"Send me on my way" - Rusted Root
I blame Gassy Mexican and Seananners for this... they started singing it in one of their videos and uughgh......-.- It's been stuck in my head for like 3 days. And it brings back awesome memories of one of my favorite childhood movies, Matilda though. So I can't really complain. It's a good song ^^
yeee
1) Yes. I was trying to tell
I was trying to tell a sea alien thing that I was terrible at remembering anyone's name not just his. Told him that I talked to a girl for four hours and had to ask for her name seven times and that I still wasn't sure if her name was Katherine or Kaytlin or Catlin. And yes you aliens look similar. IDK why I had this dream.
2) Constantly
Today it was The Story Of My Life by One Direction, We Don't Eat by James Vincent Mc Morrow and A Penny For A Tale from the musical The Devil's Carnival.
That sounds... intense ._.
Ouch! I hope you're doing ok.
Oh jeez, that must of been
I swear I never catch replies
I never catch replies to my own blogs.

Aivilo
Your dreams
should always include protals and rainbow. B]
And yeah, I guess they are pretty intense. Some people just don't respect personal space.

That would explain a lot, wouldn't it. BLoood.
Gassy mexican?

Your dream is like me in real life. B[
Believe it or not, sometimes I still scrabble to remember my friends' names even though I've known them for years.

HOW WAS I NOT TRACKING
NIRIYA WHAT HAVE I BEEN DOING WITH MY LIFE?
Question 4 - Have you ever made some kind of flower chain? With daisies, clover flowers..?
Well when we moved into my current house last summer I was 21 years old and had somehow avoided doing yardwork most of my life by pulling the "but I'm a helpless female oh god please don't ask me to carry heavy things" card because I'm a terrible person giving people with two x chromosomes a bad name. ANYWAY we moved in and the backyard was a mess of weeds. Like there were more weeds than grass. And my name was the only one on the lease out of the five of us in the house, so it was my neck on the line when the property manager rolled around to look at our yard. So I broke out the weedwhacker and murdered a ton of dandelions, and when I was done I took their cut off heads and I made a crown and went inside and proudly told all of my housemates that I was bathing in the blood of my foes.
Question 5 - If you had all the time in the world, what would you do with it? You could go anywhere, do anything and probably not get into trouble for it.
Realistically? I would probably just keep surfing the internet. But for argument's sake we can pretend I am not lazy and I can be idealistic and say that I'd use my time to master an art or something.
IM NOT QUITE SURE BREATHING,
BREATHING, MAYBE?
or bathing in the sap of your fearsome stationary adversaries that barely reach the height of your fingersSurfing the internet's a cool way to go. Don't forget to sunbathe in the pixels too. ;]
Thank you, Tuo and Kohva!
I think I missed question 3.
I think I tried with dandelions. Years ago. Over the years I have become less and less an outdoors person, though I love the outdoors. It's a really complex and stupid situation when you get down to it. It got kinda worse two weeks ago when I got a tick bite and freaked out at 2am when I noticed it. I'm still waiting to see if I develop a ring. If I do, I'm pretty screwed ;;
Time =//= money, so likely the same I have been doing. I don't really have the money to go just anywhere, so if I take that into account, I'd probably just keep playing games x3
Now if money was no problem, heck, I'd go everywhere. Japan first and foremost, a guilty pleasure of mine and a culture that I so desperately want to absorb myself into. Its different just watching anime, you know? Theres only so much you can learn from them, no matter how historically accurate.
I also have a deep desire to go to Ireland, as well as England, Thailand, China and Egypt. I find places like France, Italy, and Germany to be too cliche (even though I am mostly Italian and German myself). And no offense to anyone on the comm but Russia doesn't seem to safe for someone as open minded like me ;; I would honestly love to visit everywhere just once, who doesn't really? History in classes is so boring, I could barely pay attention when I was younger. But to live and breath it would be a whole new thing entirely, and I could see myself learning far more in person.
And last but certainly not least, I would see every single Abney Park concert every because I would have the time to fly to the west coast, the money to pay them what they deserve, and enjoy myself!!! On a positive note, they are coming to NYC 3 days after my birthday this year, and I WILL NOT MISS IT. It will be the first time I have seen them in person ;; I'm so excited I COULD POP.
I got side tracked. >.> <3 (These are fun Niri!)
Question 4) I have, though it
Question 5) If I had all the time in the world...well I'd probably keep doing what I've been doing: hobbies. Now if I had money, time and normal people skills I'd go all over the place. I'd hit everything in the USA, then wander down to Peru and see awesome things down there...heck I'd go just about everywhere. I've always wanted to go to Ireland and see the castles and waterfalls that flow upward, and Italy to see what's left of Ancient Rome. History has always been one of my favorite subjects so I've got a ton of things I need to see on my bucket list.

I've never seen that pineapple bun before. What's it exactly? Like a donut?
4: I've tried a few times,
5: Oh gosh, I have no clue. Um... probably learn a bunch of languages and travel all over Europe.
-
Oo, I just noticed that you like primal carnage! I love that game, although my computer is now too slow to play it. Dinosaurs are awesome.
4. I've actually never done
5. ...that's a pretty hard question. All the time in the world? I'm too unpredictable.
That pineapple bun looks good. I love pineapple, personally. Gotta get sum.
Just noticed the pineapple
And to jump on Echo's comment about Primal Carnage...I am ever so sorry if you ever witnessed me rage there xD It's like the only game that gets me MAD xDDD It's my game though yo xD
Oh! I wasn't expecting so
even though somebody once told me that sleep was for the weakThank you, Tuo and Kohva!
Hope you don`t mind if I bump
Question 6: The one in which I favor is one of subtle relief, one taken for granted in this sphere of chaos. A sign of health, it slinks through the softened children that sprout from the bark of the petrified giants, bleeding with the screech of life. It stands erect with the eroded spikes that coat the earth, constantly trampled by the feet of myriads. It is not noticed, it is taken for granted-the pulse of the planet`s heart.
In in times of mischief it becomes sickness, the thin line that taints the tender apricot skin, the sly pseudo-vein that spawns panic and fear. It is rot, it is death, it is the slow and sure over taker of the bread of life. It casts its filtered shadows onto forest beds, a disease creeping over the hapless and splintered wood.
It is, indeed, a great many things-the harbinger of life, and the precursor to rigor mortis. It need not be noticed, only admired hastily-for if it were ever to disappear, surely, the breath-starved inhabitants of this world would soon delve into the depths of hysteria. Life is a dull thing without its trademark tint.

Oh. Oh my lord. Holy
Holy muffins.
Poppy- this is amazing! It paints me such vivid images, especially with, "the eroded spikes that coat the earth" - with that image, I could imagine the soft-fibred core of a young shoot! And before I'd read down to your brackets I had the color in my head already, which is amazing!
I would never have imagined that my prompts could magic up something as fantastical as this, to be able to paint and draw up images from writing. Thank you!
Thank you, Tuo and Kohva!

Aw man, I know that feeling.
There's this site called Khan Academy that really helps me, though. (can't link it because I'm on my phone ;;) From what I can remember, it's got everything from trig to history to physics, and there's ton of videos that explain things in the exact same order I'm learning them in school. ^^
