i would prefer if all responses were literate, ya know, no one sentence responses and what not. he's a young teen now... they grow up so fast aha

Warui

He was used to the cold by now, born into the forest in early december, but he wasn't comfortable with it. his flame still burnt hot, and bright, but every icy gust made it flicker, and even burn lower. it hurt sometimes too, when he was near the pond and the wind blew small droplets of water into him, sizzling when it collided with his body or tail.

he let out a small sigh, thick smoke slowly floated from his slightly parted mouth. he was standing in the tall blue berries, almost as tall as he. warui never ate them, or ate anything for that matter, but their blue color fascinated him. though his vision was blurry, he could see colors just fine. blue was most definitely his favorite of the ones he had seen so far. lifting his head higher, large ears rotating towards stray, and far away sounds. perhaps of other deer. he tried to interact with them directly somethimes... which was difficult as it is, but with them all seeming uninterested or busy at best . the communication he had gotten was a greeting and no more. he always thought as he grew older, it would be easier to understand them, talk to them even, but no. a young teen now, small two tonged antlers growing atop his ashy head. his flame was even growing, but nothing besides his appearance had changed. he knew no more wonders of this forest. he wasn't learning anything, making new discoveries unless you were to count 'water is pain'. which he had learned when he was a fawn. but he noticed other beings liked the water and it gave them joy and life rather than hurt. he was different, he supposed.

he took a few steps towards the sounds, then stopped. there was no use, he would have to wait. wait for something to come to him. he was to incredibly bored of this being 'alone' thing, having nothing better to do than run around this empty forest, and watching others from a far. the orange eyed stag's head dropped, letting his neck relax and bend. eyes focusing on the blurry berries around him.
"such a nice blue... i like blue,".

There's the sound of small hooves in the distance, but they draw nearer to the blueberry patch where Warui is located. A young fawn, grey and white, trots in front of him. The poppies adorning his head and neck stand out a stark red against his monochrome pelt. "Hehe! I like blue, too!" He dips his head and motions at his poppies. "I think I kinda like red more though."

The fawn gives a polite bow before standing up again with a grin. "Hi! I'm Padieon! I haven't seen you before."

I'm going to edit this post

I'm going to edit this post later with my reply with Kyra.

Sorry it's taking me so long; just been busy.

The white and gray owl doe slowly made her way toward the strange soot colored deer. His flaming tail was what caught her initial interest- after all how many flamed tailed deer were there? She certainly hadn't met any...well until maybe this guy. She tried to keep herself as silent as possible, wings and feathers held close to her sides, as if she was stalking him more than she was just simply approaching.

Kyra paused a few steps away, head tilting in puzzlement. She expected him to eat the berries, but he didn't do that. Why didn't he eat the berries? Did he not like sweet things?

Such a nice blue...I like blue...

An ear flicked back at his voice. It was in that moment that she decided to speak up.
"...Blue's a pretty color." she agreed, keeping her voice soft as to not startle him too badly.

as warui marvels the blue orbs around him his ears pick up the sound of small hooves. he lifts his head slowly, seeing a fawn heading his way. he wasn't frightened by it, more overjoyed to have something take an interest in him,
"..really you do, this kind of blue? ..oh red, like the flowers you're wearing?"

he asked, more of a question he answered himself, he knew it was red of course, but there were varying shades of red. but then again, if it wasn't his favorite color why would the fawn walk around with it gracing his head like that. he gave a small bend in his knee, lowering his head slightly, orange eyes still glued on the interesting grey fawn.
"that name has a nice sound to it... padieon.. i'm warui."

he was curious as ever, studying the fawn, not cautiously, but rather in a intrigued way. he did love to learn about things, or beings. he could probably learn much from this fawn, he seemed very nice, and outgoing.

Padieon grinned at the

Padieon grinned at the compliment, pleased that the other at least appeared to be interested in chatting with him. After all, he had quickly learned that there were either deer who openly welcomed him, or ones who did not exactly want his company around. Although Warui was rather quiet he didn't appear to be the latter. "Thank you!" he said. "I like your name, too. It is very nice."

The fawn reached a hoof out and gently prodded at the small fruits around them. "I do like this blue. It's pretty. But there are a lot of blues, y'know? I like the pretty blue sky when the weather is good! And I like the blue of the pond. And..and my eyes are blue! Heh!"

Padieon's tail wiggled in his excitement and he lowered his head to allow the flower crown to drop onto the ground before them. "And I guess there are a lot of reds too. These flowers are a good kind of red, I think! Do you like flowers? I can make you a flower crown if you want." Padieon bounded in a small circle around the other before returning to the circlet of flowers on the ground. "I am very good at making them!"
