I'm New and I need help

I just joined the forest but I can't seem to connect. Like nothing seems to be working in game for me. All I can do is free roam with a nameless deer. Can someone please help me? I tried to run it as administrator, Turning off my firewall, and I have all bars for the internet. Am I missing something? Oh also I tried re installing it.... I really wanna join everyone :,(

Hey, not as familiar with this as many many others on this site, but perhaps uncheck (or recheck) Connect Automatically and relog, hit connect (or let it connect)?

Sometimes I get a similar problem where the pictos won't spread and this fixes it sometimes for me

there is a little colored

there is a little colored circle in a small white box at the bottom left of your screen, if the actions bar is up. click it and go to "Network" there it should say connect. click connect (if you arent connected already) and after it loads you should be able to see deer.
sorry if this isnt the reason why you arent seeing anyone, but i hope it helps!
