I return bearing photos...LOTS of photos

So I went to visit some family back up north for like a week, and I guess since most of my childhood was spent there I didn't think to take any pictures haha. But we were making very good time on our way back to Florida, that we decided to stop in Savannah, Georgia, which is one of my absolute FAVORITE places ever, and I hardly ever get to go because everyone always goes without me |D And that day there just happened to be a Spanish Galleon docked on River Street, and I absolutely LOVE ships, if it were possible I would buy my own galleon and change my name to Captain Cato lol. Anywho, this is just mostly me running around excitedly snapping photos of this lovely ship and a few shots of actual River Street:

Ok I have ONE image of the boardwalk at Ocean City where my grandmother lives, and it's one of the more boring sections |D There is an old school haunted house literally RIGHT behind me and I chose to snap the photo that way. Genius.

I wanted to see if I could snap a photo from the moving car, so here is a lovely view of the Atlantic Ocean from the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, which is actually just two short tunnels and the rest very long stretches of deserted bridge.

Just wanted to share some of the cool stuff I saw~ Maybe at some point I will post some other neat stuff from my photos of cool stuff I've seen, but right now I can't be bothered XD

That's so cool O: you got to

That's so cool O: you got to go on a ship- was it a type of museum? I've gone to a similar one. Can't remember where to save my life, though. I love the look and feel of the area, though the state of the buildings looks a little worrisome.

cloud - Yeah it was kinda. On

cloud - Yeah it was kinda. On the deck below where some exhibits and some info and artifacts posted around, and way at the bottom in the hold was a little theatre that showed you how the ship was built, because it's a modern-built ship from Spain. And haha, don't worry. Savannah has been there for a LONG time and it's withstood a lot, those buildings may look rough, but they're super sturdy ;P

acacia - thank you! ~<3

What a happy thing! I'm glad

What a happy thing! I'm glad that you got to see so much on the ship- those museums are really nice ot hang out at. I just get worried because it's a ship, even if it doesn't move :'D

Really? That's good ^^ reminds me of a place I once lived. The buildings are rather old and look like they need work done, but they've been there for a long, long time.

Yeah where I live in the

Yeah where I live in the south, it's nothing but old Spanish settlements, I live less than an hour from St Augustine (second favorite place in the world lol), which is pretty much the oldest city in the US. Pretty much all of the buildings are built the same way and look just as old. Which is very nice, it's part of why I love them so much, and also helps give the two cities their reputation for being quite haunted ;P

Ehehe xD ah, that's the charm

Ehehe xD ah, that's the charm of older places. Their look and feels gives them so many stories... so many to make and be a part of, even in the supernatural sense.
