hm, that sounds like maybe some of the files got lost in download (there is a file that if you take it out, you end up with the camera style you described)...have you taken any files out of their folders? if so, put them back. if not, try downloading the game again

Ok, well that you might need to do is click the little red button. This brings up a menu. If you click where it says Network, there should be a place that says Connect (over on the left side of the screen). If you click that, the game will start connecting again (this could help your connection problem). Once you do that, it's important to wait for a few minutes, as connecting can take some time. You will know the game has connected when you see the little red button change from red, to yellow, to green.

I still don't understand what you mean with the "im still tryin to look for my deer" because the deer you see and control (he should be laying down sleeping in the middle of the screen) is your deer...

In Endless Forest deer don't actually get 'names' per-say, in the game you are represented by a pictogram (the symbol you can see on your account page). However, lots of players choose to give their deer a real name and they do this by making a blog, usually called a bio. These bios are used to tell information and show pictures of your deer, so that people can recognize you when you play The Forest
