Most people will not stop what they're doing and greet a fawn.I just gave everyone I came across a test to see who would and wouldn't.Half of you failed that test, even after I gave you a few retakes.But oh well, I guess that half isn't social, even in a game thats point is being social.

I just made an observation that making a new name and using it to stir up trouble in a community is a lot like trolling.

Imagine that, in a game where the even bigger point is peace and harmony.

I wasn't trying to troll at all to be honest, and I really am new here so I don't quite understand everything that someone is usually expected to know right off the bat.But from what I understand, this 'piece of interactive art' is much more fun if you play it with friends or strangers.

I would say the 'game' sort

I would say the 'game' sort of encourages you to socialize, though- like having to use other players to gain spells or change your appearance, how more players together makes louder dancing music or more spectacular effects at the drinking fountain. And there's this community website where we can share and socialize together.. Smiling
Anyways, I hope I passed that test. =)

Sure, you can play with friends and strangers. That's a great idea.

But for you to come here and 'give us a test' and then say 'But oh well, I guess that half isn't social, even in a game thats point is being social. '? That's pretty insulting - and trollish, if taken into context.

Did you ever think that some of those people might be AFK?

If you're so new, it's awful bold of you to just automatically start jumping to conclusions about people. As VCG pointed out, RP isn't important to all of us. But what if it is?

What if some of those deer are characters that are blind?

Being social is all well and good, but we're not here to please you - which is exactly how you made this sound. That we didn't entertain you and by that, we failed some magical test that we weren't even aware of going on. That's not very fair, now is it?

technically, your statement is wrong. you cannot say most people wouldn't greet a fawn, and then say when you tested it. Half of them didn't. because thats an even split.

anyhuu. what people do in this is up to them. Like Bylah said, its a piece of art where you can walk around. If you choose not to say hello to anyone. that is up to you.

Hi (takes down troll sign and hides it behind tree). If it's any help everyone plays the game differnrt some people go in groups others are lowners, people put a lot sof though and effort in to their charters. Theres the good, the bad and the ugly. Keep trying and i'm sure you will fit right in. If your still a fawn try going with other fawns they some times form creshes, you can learn loads though watching and following other players. Hope this helps please don't feel that this game is not for you . CAUSE EVEERYONES WELCOME.

Fact: All reliable 'tests' have several trials. Not one.

Not that we are here to live up to your standards anyway. Sure, I wish we were a little nicer as a whole, but we are individuals. Don't judge the whole based on a few. And just because someone won't say 'hello' to you isn't the end of the world. I personally try to at least aknowledge everyone's existance, but it'll never bother me if someone else won't. <:

I do know it can be annoying

I do know it can be annoying to be left out and feel like no one cares about you. But some people don't do this on purpose, so try not to get mad.

I think people are far too

I think people are far too sensitive about these things and I actually find it silly that people take offense at all.

If someone does not greet you, yes it might not be nice and seem rude, but you have to keep an open mind...
Firstly sitting deer are most likely afk so there is 100% chance the wont greet you because they are -not- there!
If they are not afk and moving around and such then maybe they are playing TEF and doing something else (chatting on msn or whatever) so they could have easily missed your greeting or maybe they have bad connection, there are many many reasons why someone might not greet back.

Secondly it is not a social game at all, it is a beautiful forest that the creators opened for everyone to enjoy and even though a lot of people like being social, there will also be people that choose to be alone and enjoy the calm and tranquility of the forest on their own.

Just because someone enjoys being alone or does not wish to greet you does not mean anything against you personally, so leave them alone as they wish to be and find someone else to play with because there are many others that would love to.

I don't know why I typed such long post about this but there it is <.<
