that some other game developer had made a new world for TEF, just as a fan kind of thing, but Michael and Aurea liked it so much that they were giving us a chance to try it out and see if they should make it the new version of the forest. So we were given this 3D world to explore. It was very photorealistic, and very big, though when you zoomed out all the way you could see almost all of it. Of course the zoom was very powerful.
There was a river going through the middle with a big waterfall.
Going up from the right side of the river was a mountain, with lots of rocks and cliffs jutting out that we could jump on. (I have a distinct memory of there being lions on some of the cliffs, but they weren't there the whole time so hmmm) There was a light that never moved shining through the canopy onto on of the cliffs. (That's where I saw a big golden lion)
On the left of the river was a forest with red highlights. When you walked into it, everything would have sort of a red, creepy mist to it, kinda reminded me of The Path. I didn't see what was past the red forest (I walked up the deer trail [Everything was very forested and crowded, but there were a lot of "deer trails" going different places] a short way and then turned around and went back) but I do remember seeing a picture on the map of a fawn laying in a huge field of many different kinds of wildflowers, with willow trees placed here and there. I guess you had to go through the red forest to get there.
If you walked far enough upriver you came to an old picket fence with a gate. They said that that was the "end" of the endless forest, though you had a choice to go through the gate or not. Though if you went through, the wolves could hurt you. It was still an experimental thing.
Also experimental was the feature that you could change to a deerman, basically the human version of your deer, and run around the forest like that. Most people preferred to stick to deer however. (I did anyway)

Then I decided to get some photos of stuff so I was suddenly sucked into the game and able to walk around. Then I had to guide my sister's 7th grade class through the forest on a field trip. Then some football teams came running through. Then I found a hay-penny in a cave on the cliffs and the rest is much more like a typical dream. :|
