"Boy, I'm tellin' you, them thugs'll kill you."
Perhaps he should have heeded her advice.
Lying in the gutter with a hole in his heart, he found her words coming back to him.
He had tried to reason with them, had tried to get them to see truth. Tried to touch any human sympathy that may have been hiding within their black, twisted hearts.
And they answered him with a smoking gun.
"You wanna get rid of 'em, you gotta shoot first."
He may attempt to:
Start a Fight: Angry + (Paw Ground + Headtilt)
Taunt/Talk Trash: Angry + Yes
Flirt: Listen + (Headtilt + Yes)
However he may also:
Greet Coolly: (Bow + Headtilt)
Attempt a compliment: Surprise + (Headtilt + Yes)
Try a Joke: (Headtilt + Yes) + Laugh
He is, in essence, two very different people. One is fairly eloquent, given to social commentary, the other is rough and uncouth. The two clash often, and he may be extremely social one moment and an outright party-crasher the next. Occasionally one has control of the body and the other has control of the voice at a given time, though it is often not that simple.
If in an unusually upbeat mood, he will certainly engage in a dance, especially with does. Heterosexual leaning. He is always willing to socialize.
Interesting character you

A young doe by the name of Kasmir pranced through the forest. It was a quite day and her golden-ish pelt shined in the sun as she pranced about. She was currently jumping around a fallen log near the pond when a flash of white caught her eye. She turned and looked at the stag standing there, and a smile spread across her face, wider than the one before. The sunny day called for a bit of company. "Hello, there!" She curtsyed and tilted her head as she trotted over and sniffed the deer. "Haven't smelled you before! What's your name, stranger?" She was overly happy today, more so than usually. "How do you do? She curtsyed a bit again, eyeing the new buck with curiosity. She happened to love meeting new people.

There was little to go by on the tall stag's face. His mask hid away most expression, leaving his eyes and mouth visible, but creating what was often a barrier to other deer. One would almost be forced to take the first step in an encounter with him, but once engaged he could be quite unpredictable...
He'd been standing silently at the water's edge, enjoying the sunlight on his fur. It had been overcast the day before, and now he relished the feel of warmth melting into his bones. He had also been enjoying the relative peace and quiet the forest had to offer this day - at least, until the doe showed up. She pranced up daintily, curtsying and greeting in a sunny manner that fit the day, even if it did not fit his answering mood.
"My name is none of your business," He replied sharply, "and I do whatever the hell I please." His actions, however, belied his words with terribly oddity - he gave an elegant leg in response to her curtsy, and turned to face her, his muscles relaxed and body posture surprisingly at ease despite his venomous words. When he spoke again, his voice, too, had relaxed into almost amicable territory. "And you?"
Perhaps she would be startled, confused. Perhaps not. Perhaps he was being deliberately difficult. Perhaps not.
He awaited her response.
Yhea... XD /Will now forever

Kasmir's happy expression turned sad in an instant. He usually bright eyes dropped. It seemed like lately, all the deer she talked to were either rude or just plain weird.
She suddenly felt considerably small next to this deer, who's words spit out like hot fire. She hunkered down a bit frightened, and still sad.
"M...My name is Kasmir." She mumbled, looking back up the the stag. "If you don't want to be bothered, I can go..." She said, with her ears pinned back. "I'd just been looking for some company. It's such a pretty day and there's no in the forest that I know." Her tail flicked a bit, and she sighed. Maybe this deer just didn't want to be bothered.
She didn't look up into his eyes again, she just moved a few feet away. She was still tense and this stag watched her like a hawk. She didn't quite know what to say or do at this point.
The stag watched her move,
Face still turned heavenward, he muttered. "You may call me Prot." He then glanced sharply down at her, all muscles tensing, and a dark look came over his face. Ears went flat against his skull as he pierced her with intense red eyes. "I apologize for my behavior. I don't mean to be nasty."
Her ears perked up a bit,
She tillted her head to the side, gazing up as he did then back down."Prot..." She whispered, getting used to the name on her tounge. She gave a little huff through nose, then asked, "Are you okay, Prot?" She asked.
She huffed trhough her nose once more, still sensing his dark mood. "It's alright..." A tiny grin crept unto her face. She poked him in the ribs, then backed up a bit, grinning. She ran around him, initiating a game.
She just hoped he would play along
She dared herself to sniff
LOOOOOOLOLOLOLyes :|
Hahah, have a spell to the face, that's what you get for using angry emotes at my rpbuddehs :U

He shrugged his powerful shoulders, dark look turning to apathetic carelessness. "Not anything I can change about it, anyway."
The instant, violating tap of her hoof digging into his ribs shocked him into a standstill. His gaze swung around towards her, but all he could do for a moment was stare, mouth slightly open in surprise.
Did she... Was she...? She darted around to his other side. Yes. She was, she was... playing a game. Like a faun.
For a moment something terribly dark swelled in his chest, but he managed to quell it before it outgrew its constraints. Muscles were tightening and as she ran around back of him, his hind hoof lifted before he could stop it - but he did manage to control himself enough to turn the gesture into a gentle tap, perhaps even connecting lightly against the smaller doe's shoulder.
Enough to continue the game.
XD It was infered from his
lol they weren't doing angry emotes. That was Demon and Euyru. Demon is protective over Kas, so he might have been warning you to stay away. XD No worries, though. I told them. And Euyru might not like you too much. ._. XD

She looked at him curious. "You can change your mood! I try to stay happy all the time! And I am!" She giggled a bit again.
She saw him swivel his head around trying to look at her as she dashed about. He felt a tap on her shoulder, as she laughed. "Game on!"
She poked her nose into his chest fluff, maybe a bit ruffer than she intened, but she figured he was a big stag and could take it. She then whipped around and poked him in the side again. She giggled, and ran a bit away.
She also wondered if he knew this was her way of saying, 'I like you'.
To quote Coyote of
"Oh, well in that case, how awkward~!"
lololol when I was still a ways away coming up behind I thought I saw (belugapeltskulldurrwithcandlers) doing an angry emote at you. S'why Prot stood there with intense stareface for so long. Could you extend my apologies (or at least point me to where I need to send them~)

Well this was just frustrating. But he found it was a much less stressful kind of frustrating. He took a step back when she attacked his front (merely out of surprise at her uncommon brashness, of course) but as she danced around to the side and went for his ribs again he spun, planting his hind legs firmly and reaching out with one powerful foreleg. He missed, of course, not accustomed to 'play' fighting, but as she darted away he found himself quite willing to chase her.
He squashed this desire, of course. Turning back to the water, flicking his tail upright disdainfully, he took several very deliberate steps before sitting solidly, his back to her. He glanced over his shoulder at her once, then rolled his eyes and went back to his vigil.
Waiting. Listening for the sounds of her footsteps...
XD I will tell them. They'll

She saw him as he flounced away. He turned toward the water and sat. A michevious smile spread across her face, a spurr of excitement rushed through her as she decided to exicute her new plan.
Being as silent as she could, she slithered through the trees, trying to contain herself, and hoping that Prot couldn't hear her.
With the element of surprise on her side, she neared closer to the stag. Then she lept out of the trees, and spung on-top of him. She wiggled up his back and sat straight up , with her hooves on his head, and hher butt oh his lower neck.
"The lake is lovely, isn't it?" She giggled again, figuring he was probably going to roll over and pin her down. But she enjoyed her position for now.
Well, he hadn't quite been
Impact nearly knocked him breathless, and before he could do anything she'd wriggled up and planted herself solidly on his shoulders. For a moment all he could do was glare his overwhelmed bemusement at the pond while he tried to figure out if he could move without toppling over.
He could. He stood, suddenly, but then seemed not so sure what to do from there. Emotions and desires conflicted madly, creating such muscle tension that he was visibly shaking.
"Enjoying y-yourself?" He finally croaked.
She felt him stand up and was
She gulped, figuring this wasy revenge, and looked at him. He glared at the pond, which made her even a bit more frightened. She felt his muscle tension, also, and she was a bit frightened at that point he was going to hurl her into the pond or something. Her jaw shook, with her mouth hanging open. It was unusual for her to feel anything other than happy, she she was a bit afraid that she would pass out and fall and break her neck and Prot would just leave her there.
He began shaking and she shook her head and gulped.
"Ah.. I .. er chkk.. Jhhsd?" She asked, trying to say something like 'yes, are you?'. Her voice went up and cracked and she had to force out the words. All that came out was rambling nonsense.
Interesting

Unconscious motor responses tussled madly with conscious moral standards. Finally they came to an uneasy truce and the stage slowly, carefully, dropped his hind end, legs quaking, to end in an awkward sitting position. Kasmir's timid stutter struck him dumb.
She was so small, so frail. Delicate. Physically and emotionally, he could tell.
I could take her. I could do it. Ain't nobody watching.
What in God's name am I doing?
The trembling gentled as a decision was reached. Deliberately, the stag lowered his head, so that his chin rested on the grassy sward, and he shook gently to dislodge her. Careful not to accidentally knock her with his antlers. "All right short stuff, this is where the buck stops." His voice was calm, even joking slightly as he eased her off.
But all the while his eyes were smouldering.
Kasmir wondered. Who was
Who was this Prot? Why did he seem so hostile in a way he tried to cover up? What sort of demons haunted him?
She was too afraid to answer any of these questions herself. He lowered her down, mumbling a joke as he went, then shook her off. She hit the ground with a thud.
His eyes were smoldering, trying to hold something back that couldn't quite be contained. She had to admit, it frightened her a bit. Not truly knowing what was going on his mind. But she never really did know with anybody, did she? She just made guesses from what she picked up from their behavior, and they were usually right 98% of the time.
But this stag confused her. He didn't act quite normal. It was hard to read his thoughts through his expression. And if she tried, she only saw anger and a smoldering fire, cackling and pushing it's way out into his mood. He was good at acting calm, she could tell. It was in his voice, effort put forward that it be calm and polite, but just behind that you could sense the tension and anger, stock piled. She wanted to know, where he came from, who he was, why he was like this. But as far as she could tell, he wasn't going to tell her anything. It seemed he just wanted her to go away and leave him to his sorrow. She figured she could do that but not before she asked one last question.
"Prot... Are you okay? With... Everything?" A strange question but she figured he may know what she meant.
