No God can take my eyes off her.
Their trickery was nothing; my eyes only searched for her in the crowds earlier today. But tonight, their presence was all but forgotten under the deep purple sky. I lead her to the fireflies and the soft ground of those wonderful velvet blue flowers... There we chased the light and purposely gave each other accidental touches, beckoning glances, until we settled into nervous giggles and gentle embraces where I could barely summon the courage to breathe. I quickly realized that I could do nothing but smile, and when words escaped me I allowed my tongue to caress her neck where my affections had disheveled her soft and brilliant coat. Touching, grooming her so fondly... it was then I told her, in a whisper.
The words were fearless on my breath.
"I love you, Oseaan."
