In the still afternoon, their misery echoed. Pierce the calming silence with their silent wails of agony. Crimson streaks painted the crumbling stone walls; stealing the purity of the snow with their tainted hue. A shattered man trapped within an animal's body laid sprawled upon his altar. A bird-creature recovering from trauma rested at his side. A submissive doe tended to her masters...And the broken approached, lingering at the opening of their insane sanctum. Beckoned into the mouth of madness.
"Why... are you here... boy...Tell me boy.....who... will you... report all this now..."
"Why...I will not report this to anyone, sir...I am here merely out of my own concern..."
"He...-You, still think...that......still think he lies. Told...told you he doesn't...he isn't a liar..."
A conspiracy conspired within their cold stares. Whispers of warning and dread lingered the four, speaking of an invasion but of what and by who...? Tension laid heavily upon them as confessions were spilled and resolutions were discovered.
"Haven't... I beat the concern out of you....already...?
That is no answer. You avoid, boy! Lets... try... again, boy... why.. do you care...?"
"I..I...I value them and respect you...
A deed of unconditional devotion done in the dead of night, going unnoticed. A crow-creature who had become respectable rival of insults; distance yet offered words of kindness and encouragement. The small doe who offered fond company and gave herself to those around her. And the stag, cast in a light of admiration for an unseen strength. All stood before the clothed-stag, lost within his own tormented state.
And their story continues to unfold...
"Is that an acceptable answer for you, si-...Jack?"
He didn't answer immediately, thought a moment about pretending to be fainted, while actually fighting against the rising dizziness. Still after a few more moments of silence he answered. "An acceptable answer." He mumbled "...but still..won't accept how you..." He stopped again. Another fight broke loose inside him. Not the usual fight against rage or chaos, but against embarrassment and pride. The pride, that was usually buried below all that, together with honor...and common sense. He moved again, willingly releasing another wave of pain, a frown appearing on his face while he grinned his teeth.
Sonne was frowning again now, gnawing once again at her lip as Bright shot her a curious look. Feeling Jack's body tense she glimpsed the discomfort on his face and sighed helplessly, leaning against him, offering whatever support she could.

The white's sentence died slowly with a groan of discomfort; stretching and intentionally tearing at his wounds as the concerned doe leaned gently to his side. Distraught eyes gingerly inspected him, longing to offer more than a brush of contact but forced to sit idly as a prisoner of forbidden affection.
Cypher strained his ears, forcing them forward as far as they could go. Taking a cautious step forward in attempts to pick up the shattered pieces on the wind before the ghostly whispers vanished along with the soft puffs of breath near the other's cracking lips. Brow rose, "How I what...?" His head swiveled on his shivering shoulders, cocking his head in alarmed curiosity.

The eyes behind the closed
"How you treated me... how you see me..." he remembered their first talk... And those few words that had triggered his instant wrath. His head rose again, in pride. For a moment he forced his eyes to open, seeking for the clothed stag's eyes.... but again he had only a moment before the stinging light forced him to shut them again... before he would tear up... "... like some kind of..." again he stopped. In his calm, 'enlighted' state... he wouldn't take that word in his mouth.
At the same time he was well aware of his... how he would call it 'anger', that caused so many troubles. He sighed. Lack of discipline soldier...
... but for whom would it be worth to cling to those old virtues anyways...
"Therefore... can't accept you." he finally closed, while his head sunk down again, not exactly becuse he wanted, but because he couldn't hold it up any longer. Again he fought against fainting... he must have bleed a lot...he noticed with a snort.
((edit: okay, before i get lost again. The order is Steph, Lu, me, shi... yes? |D ))
(Oh crap, is it my turn!? DX

(So...My turn again?
How you see me, statement pierced the stag. Causing him to grin his teeth in frustration as a spark ignited in his deep, blue eyes. It was true that their first encounter was more than unpleasant, that was something the clothed-stag could not deny. Having said the wrong things and losing control over Sax- barely knowing her before the blood was shed. (Had he known she would have acted so aggressively, he would have never allowed her to accompany him on his introductory attempts.) It was obvious that the unfortunate events and own blunt stupidity left a tainted impression.
Amends struggled over the course of the past weeks. Days spent pounding a peaceful solution. Heartfelt apologies were swatted away like pesky gnats; deeds of devotion were displayed to those around him fell beneath the white's radar. And it would have appeared that the others had tried to compromise with the other in Cypher's defense, at least, that is how he interrupted Bright's first statement of the night, told you he doesn't; he isn't a liar. So why was it proving to be so hard to be given a second chance...? To be forgiven...?
He gulped, swallowing down the rising anxiety. Even though the white did not look upon him, he felt as if a thousand eyes were glaring down at him. Frowning and feeling cold as the rejection was thrown at him. Heavily conflicting with his desire to offer the little knowledge he had to tend to Jack's wounds. Wanting to just comfort him in any way possible and just say 'it will be okay'.
"I see..." was all he could muster out in defeat. Slowly beginning to shivered from adrenaline building up within him. In reality, he had nothing to lose from the rejection, but his worrisome gaze shifted between the crow, the doe, and even stag who despised him...He felt as if he had the world to lose...
[Gotta skip my turn again.
He let out a snort. Secretly
The white moved again, dragging his head agross the stone, pressing it into chilling, bloody snow, having a few mouthfull of it. The numb feeling in his body grew constantly stronger... he didn't want to passout among the bird and the clothed stag....
He hadn't much more to add in this moment, besides the usual 'go away' and 'leave me alone' that, and he simply knew by now that this would fall to deaf ears.
Still puzzled about the sheer presence of the bird and the stag, who actually should have all reasons to avoid him by now, he turned his head towards the small doe. The only presence, that did not outright annoy him.... just unsettled him in a way.
"Little Sonne... shouldn't sit so close.... blood is... sticky." He mumbled, voice lowered, so hopefully only she would be the one who would catch those words.
Her heart broke for Cypher.
That is, until Jack turned to her.
Blue-green eyes lifted attentively. She let them linger on his a little longer than usual as he spoke to her softly, taking...slight advantage of the fact that he couldn't see. “The damage has been done, sir. I am a hopeless mess already. I don't mind,” she mused quietly, smiling softly as she glanced back at her blood-smeared fur. Then, after a beat, “I...I have some medicine for you. If you would allow, I can treat some of your wounds and clean your fur a bit. If...if you stay wet in blood and leave yourself exposed like this you might get sick...”
(Skip - Don't want to
[Gahfuck, didn't know...don't
'Medicine'... this word send
A nervous chuckle escaped his throat. "N... no... that's... that's not needed..." came the calmer reply, before his head sunk down again with a sight. "N...no need to that... no" he mumbled while he tried to calm down his racing heartbeat, breath and the spinning of his head. "B...body, fixes itself, yes? He he..." His voice seemed to crack again, fell back into his usual, tensed tone.
Silent and still and
A moment of uncomfortable silence followed before his tongue thought to spill out over his lips, wet them so he could speak. "Sure of, ye...?" He had begun to lift his talons as if to pet the stag, but...he hesitated, and slowly lowered them back down to rest alongside the white instead. "Jus...plants...not...not real 'medicine'..." Even as he spoke it, the bird began to tense. Expecting the worst seemed a reasonable thing to do at this point.
His response startled her.
Her mouth fell open before she could think of a safer choice of words. An apology perhaps? Yet Bright beat her to it, interjecting on her behalf. She might have thrown him a grateful smile, but her attention was trained urgently on the stag beside her. “Y-yes sir...only plants,” the doe repeated quietly, not really sure what other types of 'medicines' there were but choosing not the question it. “I'm sorry...I meant no harm, I-I should not have asked. I just want to see you well...” With that she glanced away and fell silent, resigning herself to watching from a 'distance' again.
Brow-tipped ears were now
The insight into their 'world' caused Cypher to shift uneasily on his slender legs. Stomping the moist ground faintly while he readjusted his posture, standing stiffer than before with hind legs spread at his hips; forelegs drawn in near his chest, molding around the natural curve of his neck as he readied himself, preparing to leap on front of either Bright or Sonne, or dash out of the way, if the situation grew too hostile. Not fully trusting the white's unstable condition and unsure of who he would lash out at if angered...
"Ahem..." Clearing his throat - not necessarily to draw attention to himself, but to polite invite himself to their conversation - he sternly offered an opinion, "Bodies may heal on their own, si-...But cleaning the wounds properly will make the process much quicker." A soft sigh of defeated disrupted his sentence as he quickly fought back against his proper behavior and refrained from calling the white 'sir'. "Though it is surely up to you...As to whether or not you feel such remedies are be worth your time," he quickly added in an attempt to try to drift the subject away from the 'medication'. Fearing that it might become a tender topic and regretting adding his input, feeling as if the 'ganging' of the three would push the white to the edge and cause their whole, so-far-peaceful meeting to crumble from stupidity. Like so many confrontations in the past.
"Remember, dear Sonne," worrisome eyes had now shifted to her. Addressing her with a soft voice, "Bodies can heal at amazing rates with just rest." A quick glance was shot towards Bright, with a wink.
"Don't care what it is
He recovered just in time to catch the second sentence, the clothed stag spoke.
"...no it is not worth my time... Sir" he imitated the in his ears overly polite wording of the stag, replying to something he actually hadn't quite cought... but maybe none of them had noticed that.
"Amazing rates...teh... if you would know..."he mumbled, obviously to himself.
The white now forced his head up again, tried to sit up, what immediately was punished with dizzyness again. He turned his head, where he had heard the doe speaking before, with this gesture showing that the following words where for her, and for her only. "Thank... you... little Sonne.... b..but no, thank you.... don't...want... need any of this...stuff...."
Tracking this epicness. :/
The bird, he relaxed. Though
A slight smirk twitching at the corners of his mouth, he laid his head back down, eying the blind one knowingly. "...yes...does not need, hmm." He agreed half heartedly, sending a glance toward Sonne, then to Cypher. "...pain is 'good' for, yes?" And his smile flickered nervously away.
