Faunets ascends from the staircasi in a red dress her brownish goldish knee lenghth hair is twisted up her icy blue eyes takes in the party as goes to get a drink.
He wasn't entirely sure why he was still here. Perhaps it was because the music playing in the backround was pleasing to him, or because the drinks were good. In any case, Jareth the Goblin King was not completely thrilled to be at this ball. After all, he had better things to do. Tuna might have been wondering where he'd vanished to.
No. Tuna probably wouldn't care.
With a bored sigh, Jareth didn't bother going to the drinks stand, but rather magicked a bottle of wine from nowhere and sipped from it, his unusual eyes inspecting the party members.
Faunet scans the crowd of men she sees a few cute ones her eyes turn to a man with unruly wild hair she thinks he is cute she even stops to take take a second look but soon turs her back to converse with one of her friends the conversation soon bores her .
A woman with golden caramel coloured hair stood in the corner, her reddish brown eyes glancing around the room. She wore a simple yellow dress that flared out past her knees and little white shoes. Her eyes thought she saw a familiar mop of hair....

Jareth was not blind to the woman in the red dress glancing at him, but he dismissed them. A flash of caramel hair and a yellow dress caught his eye, however, and he blinked in surprise, moving to try and keep sight of the woman.
He pushed past the woman that had glanced at him, muttering a very quick 'excuse me' to her and her group of friends, before reaching the caramel-haired woman.
"Of all the people I expected to see here, Chime, you are not one of them." Jareth leaned against the wall, smirking the way he always did.
Bored wth the coversation Faunet turns her attention to the dancing and as if she summoned him a man was beside and ask her to dance . With a glance she noticed that this man was rather welll average so to speak .She accepts the offer during the dance she notices the man she stared at earlier haveing a conversation with another girl. She stares but soon shrugs and ignores them and turns her attention back to her dancing .
Chime, happy to see a familiar face shuffled slightly towards him, even if it was Jareth. "...hm...and likewise, I wouldnt expect you to be here either..."
___________________________________________________________________________
Jareth's gaze flicked to Faunet and lingered there as he spoke to Chime. "Mm. I wouldn't have thought you to be the type of woman to attend this type of dance..." His gaze was still on Faunet, but then he looked to Chime, eyeing the dress briefly. He himself was dressed in a dark blue (glittery) outfit. "I believe someone is repeatedly glancing at me," The long-haired man chuckled slightly in amusement.
Faunet felt as if she was being watched she looked around and sure enough the man with the unrulely hair was watching her she rolled her eyes and focused on her partner who was almost stepping on her feet.
Black stilettos beat a solid tune, but her heartbeat danced a faster tempo. The flowing skirt billowed about her legs, twisting precariously inside and out her legs, almost looking as if they would become entangled. A bead of sweat lined her forehead at the thought of a tumble in front of the stately manor. How they would laugh! She wore no expensive jewels or any other frivolous amendments. A simple black ribbon around her neck, tied in the back with a dainty bow was all she cared for. Her normally unruly hair was brought upwards in a pretty Chignon, which had let loose on her walk across the lot to the front doors, so tendrils of ebony hair flowed about her face and neck. Blue eyes gazed towards her hands, making sure the tiny envelope was securely clenched in her grasp.
She could not believe that she had been invited, could not even imagine it! But she had, and here she was. The black corset top restricted her movements, but she had always liked the womanly feel to them. She took the steps two at a time, and made it to the guard. Flashing her brilliant smile along with the invitation, he allowed her to pass. She couldn't believe it! It was magnificent, there had to be hundreds of guests here, all in ranges of colors, but here she was in dreary black. Her smile faded some as she made her way slowly down the steps. She sighed as she took a seat upon a chair, the soft cushions underneath would be her constant friend tonight.
A certain skirt caught Faunets attention she left her partner to discover that her friend Mrs Halloween was sitting in a chair . She goes to greet her friend.
It was not exactly an event he usually attended, but Arrikanez was here... in full god-child regalia, no less. His arms were bedecked with black and red sleeves that -barely- connected to a rather nice silk black-and-red shirt, a bit of his young chest showing from the sag at the neckline. Around his neck was a black velvet collar, sporting a split red/black gem in the center. The sleeves were rather transparent, while the shirt was not. The slick black silk pants he wore, along with the gem-studded boots completed the ensemble. Jareth may have been a king... but Arrikanez matched him in style, glamor, and brilliance. If not in masculinity. His black-gloved hands ghosted over the doorway, as he made his way slowly inside. He was definitely a sight to behold, above and beyond his extravagant apparel.
He couldn't have been more than physically fourteen. But every inch of how he moved and held himself denoted someone who was far older. His hair was black, with rainbow streaks throughout, spiky, and a little messy. His skin creamy pale. His eyes a haunting red-in-black-in-red, eerily beautiful, yet a little scary. The slow way he looked around suggested that he really had time to spare, and wasn't in much of a hurry. But the way he hugged the wall, and kept his hands to the nearest surface suggested that perhaps he didn't feel so well. Or was nervous. Or both.
Quietly, he found an unoccupied seat, and fetched himself a glass of wine. For some reason, it was pink-lemonade when it touched his lips. That suited him just fine. For now, he let the others mingle... simply sitting in the shadows, watching from afar.

"I am not the Kirin Prince my father wished me to be. I am the three-horned darling of the Forest,
and my friends are my strength."
Thick lashes danced upwards as she watched her friend approach. A smile blazed across her features as she made to stand up, arms out stretched to welcome her friend in a warm embrace. "Faunet! It's great to see you amidst all these guests, I thought you would indeed be pulled into conversations and I thought I would not see you for a while." Her eyes danced with humour, jesting with her friend. She placed her dainty hands upon her hourglass waist and tsked softly "You truly did out do yourself Faunet, amazing what your mind can cook up."
In truth, the manor was magnificent, how Faunet pulled it off, Hallow would never know. A black shadow caught her interest as it moved in the corner of her eye. Eyes darted to gaze at the man for a brief second before they turned back to Faunet with warmth.
Faunet embraces her friend and admited that most of the conversations bored her. But my dear friend how could you think i would forget you. i am surprised you have not been swept away by one of these fine men by know.
((Mmkay I guess I'm gonna have to leave this RP xD But Faunet, I do have a roleplay blog with the same post I used here at first~ Y'know, with Jareth at the ball <8D))
Two more guests entered the ballroom. They both had long hair and fair skin. The man had long raven-black hair and deep violet eyes. He wore a long sleeved silver-grey tunic with matching leggings. The clothes' trim was designed to look like silver vines. He smiled as he surveyed the ball. Beside him stood a woman with long medium brown hair and warm gold eyes. She wore a long floor-length dress with elbow-length sleeves. She didn't seem to pleased to be here.
"I can't believe you convinced me to come to another human ball, Amuleto." She whispered to the man, so quietly it couldn't be heard by even the closest person. He looked down and her and smirked a little.
"Oh please, if we're going to live in this world we might as well try to act like humans." Amuleto answered her just as quietly.
Arya rolled her eyes and walked to a window and gazed out at a few mountains in the distance. Amuleto stood beside her, watching the dancing with a small smile on his face.
---------------------------------------------- "Whoever said nothing was impossible never tried slamming a revolving door."
A strange sensation came over Faunet as she watched the new comers aproach . Something was different about them she could not take her eyes off of them.
Amuleto blinked as the girl began walking over. Usually they just stare. When she came up to him, he bowed his head in welcome. "Good evening, m'lady." He raised his head again. Arya still didn't turn.
((I'm presuming it's evening))
---------------------------------------------- "Whoever said nothing was impossible never tried slamming a revolving door."
"Ah, I see. Well he did a wonderful job." His eyes flicked to Arya, then back to Faunet. "We usually don't come to these kind of things but..." He trailed off and smiled again, closing his violet eyes. "But we decided to come to this one."
---------------------------------------------- "Whoever said nothing was impossible never tried slamming a revolving door."
Amuleto opened his eyes again. "It is nice to make new friends..." His voiced trailed off again and eyes dropped a little when he said "friends". But he blinked and looked up again, a smile hiding the sad memories that had just came into his mind.
---------------------------------------------- "Whoever said nothing was impossible never tried slamming a revolving door."
Amuleto blinked. When was the last time he had danced? Oh yes with Mimosa the other day but it wasn't a real dance. She was only a little girl. So when was his last real dance? That day... He didn't want to think about it. He smiled slightly. "Sure if you'd like" The music changed to a medium-fast song and he held out his hand to her. Arya looked at them from out of the corner of her eye.
---------------------------------------------- "Whoever said nothing was impossible never tried slamming a revolving door."
Amuleto walked her out onto the dance floor. He began by twirling her effortlessly. It was apparent he knew what he was doing. Arya turned the upper half toward them to watch.
---------------------------------------------- "Whoever said nothing was impossible never tried slamming a revolving door."
They danced until the song was over, then he led her off the dance floor and back next to Arya, who was completed turned around now. "I must say you're a very good dancer." He complimented her as they walked back.
---------------------------------------------- "Whoever said nothing was impossible never tried slamming a revolving door."
Arya's face became blank as she listened. Amuleto's smile dissapeared for a split second before he lifted an eyebrow and giving a small smile. "How so?"
---------------------------------------------- "Whoever said nothing was impossible never tried slamming a revolving door."
"Well we're from a different culture so.." He rubbed the back of his neck, not because it hurt but because he had seen humans do it a lot. He could tell she was trustworthy but they had just met. And it was very crowded.
---------------------------------------------- "Whoever said nothing was impossible never tried slamming a revolving door."
Amuleto sighed and looked at Arya with a pleading look. He could tell she wouldn't betray them but of course Arya had a say in this. Her hands, which were crossed in front of her chest, dropped and she exhaled sharply, dropping her eyes and nodding. She could tell, too. Amuleto smiled a little and looked back at Faunet. "Alright. Is there a garden here?" That seemed like the best private place to talk.
---------------------------------------------- "Whoever said nothing was impossible never tried slamming a revolving door."
Arya sat down next to the small pond and stuck her fingers into the water. A few small fish living in there swam straight to them and swam around them.
"It's no culture you know about... And you can't look it up anywhere..."
Amuleto let his mind search for other presences in the garden and when it was confirmed no others were there he walked over to his sister and stood next to her.
"A culture... Not of this world..."
