You can go underground by sleeping on hills as well.

I don't think there is a

I don't think there is a tutorial per say, glitches like this tend to be unreliable. Check on youtube if you want to see what the 'underground' area looks like, I recall someone had posted a video years ago of it. Might still be up.

It...isn't really that interesting looking in my opinion, just a sort of grey/foggy gradient.

All you have to do is go into

All you have to do is go into the middle of the triangle and move the camera around till you sink down into the ground. Eye
