How do i fix my game when i try to minimize it?

Okay, so i tried to minimize my game, so i could look up something....bad idea! I had to turn my computer off, and turn it back on.....So, does anyone know how to fix that problem without turning it off? Frown Thanks.... Puzzled

I don't know how to fix it but I know the problem. I run the game in a smaller window. That way I can click on other tabs without the game crashing on me.

I just play it in a window

I just play it in a window and never minimize it, just using the start menu and such. If you want to minimize it however, you can untick 'keep running in background' in the control menu, this freezes the game and prevents it from crashing.
