I don't know, I have the same problem. I just wait for a while and everything becomes normal.

Hi! Try clicking the ''Connect'' option manually under the network tab. Try also checking the ''connect automatically'' box if you haven't already. Sometimes it takes a bit of fiddling to get connected.

To tell if you're online, you can open your action tab (the one with emotes, bottom middle screen) and look towards left. There will be a small box with a circle inside of it. Red = offline, yellow = issues/attempting connection, green = online! When you go online, pictograms will also ''spread'' (very sudden and noticeable animation) in the thin black border that goes around the entire game screen and you'll be be able to see other players.

Let me know if any of this helps ^^ if not, I'll check some more.

Only possibility I can think of is your firewall blocking it. Try adding an exception for TEF in your firewall, and possibly windows defender/any other AV you use!
