How to..

How do I use BBC coding so that bio's are like this: http://endlessforest.org/community/node/85226
And how to make links instead say #20 for things like these: http://orig01.deviantart.net/4a1b/f/2015/094/4/b/hjortstorlekar_frg_1_by_khyros-d8ocs6d.png
And how do I put a picture in a post instead of doing a link?
How do I do all of that stuff?
Please note that it's very difficult for me to understand these things, I look at BBC coding pages but they just don't make sense to me and I don't know what to do.

For the link that displays

For the link that displays words instead of the link itself. simply use "<a href="URL LINK">TEXT HERE</a>".

As for the CSS. You can get some basic CSS templates here.
And also here are some made by me. You can customize the colors and backgrounds.

When you use CSS, remember to always make a cut so it will not mess up with the other blogs when on the category pages. Here is a tutorial for that.

Also, you have to switch from "Filtered HTML" to "BBCode". For that, create another blog (or edit it) and then click on "Input Format" (the green link below the blog text field).

If you have any difficulties with BBCode/CSS, I left my Email address below my CSS list and my Skype is skymails888, if you prefer Skype than Emails.

EDIT: Also, for the images. There are two ways for that. Or you use the [IMG][IMG] tags, or you use <img src="IMAGE URL">. You can change the size using the second way by adding "width="NUMBER" height="NUMBER"" after the " following the image link.

Thanks! The word display

Thanks! The word display really helped but the imagine instead of link thing didn't work for me, it either left a plain text or it just won't show the image and I do not have skype or email(I used my mothers email for TEF).

EDIT: How do you also link your pictos? I had someone say to screenshot it but screenshots don't work for me on TEF and everyone seems to have pictures of it from the "tales of tales" site if you get what I mean?

What is exactly the image you

What is exactly the image you want to display directly?

And yes, just use this link and type your account name after the "=" (capital letters included) in the URL address.
Here is your pictogram. Simply copy/paste it.

Okay then. Or use this

Okay then.

Or use this code:
[img]http://sta.sh/01fhet7u4rlh[/img]

Or you use this one:
<img src="http://sta.sh/01fhet7u4rlh">

You can change its size by adding "width="NUMBER"" and "height="NUMBER"".
Like for example: <img src="http://sta.sh/01fhet7u4rlh" width="500" height="500">

Isn't working. Might be just

Isn't working. Might be just me.
Can you check my "Requests" page and see if it shows? It's doing the same thing it did before for me.

It does not show up because

It does not show up because you did not use the PROPER URL for that, I just realized.

If you want to put an image from dA, right click on the image and click on "open the image in a new tab" and then use the URL from that image tab.

In this case, it is this URL you must use.

Thank you! This helped a lot.

Whoops I have another

Whoops I have another question. When you mean edit the "add a comment" section, what do you mean? For the Northern Sand Bird(I can't remember the title clearly, haha) CSS.

Before the tags with the CSS

Before the <style><style> tags with the CSS codes in it, there is the "Add new comment" which has for title "Spread Your Wings", change the node number of its URL into your node number (you can see it in the address bar of your editing page, "/node/NODENUMBER/edit")

If you do not do that, people will accidentally comment on the original CSS page (mine) while they actually wanted to comment on your bio, as it is not the default "Add new comment", but a customizable one, so it works like a manual link since it links to the page which I put the URL of.

Okay, thanks. I did a

Okay, thanks.
I did a different CSS but I'm kinda confused as to where I write all the information down? The jumbled up codes kinda confuse as to where I write in edit mode. :S

Well, just write where there

Well, just write where there is "blah blah blah", "Basic information here" etc...

It is easy, just look closely, you will get used to it eventually. Eye

Thanks!
