Woke up to the sound of flowing water. It has been a while.

Previously

Took a shower in the stream. Heard Ravly's voice, went to him. Happy to see the dragon again and settled down with him. Soon noticed Beren lurking around nearby. Went to greet him, but knew that Rav and Beren were still mad at each other. Tried to get them together, however that didn't work the way she had planned. Stayed with Beren, Rav left. Already felt sorry.

She noticed a familiar wolf pup hiding behind a nearby tree at some point. Greeted him, so did Beren. Settled down with them. Suddenly the wolf pup began to behave strangely. Looked over her shoulder to see a ghost; she has never seen one before. Stared at the ghost that was scaring the shit out of the pup. Was somewhat scared, but also fascinated by the ghost. It vanished at some point.

The canine's ears perked. "What for?" He asks out of curiosity. After noticing a teardrop roll down the doe's cheek he leans to the level of her sight and gives her a glance. "I'll offer you my company, if that helps in any way," he smiles.

"No one seems to care for me...", she whispers. The wolf offers her his company and smiles. "Thank you... I would be more than grateful for you." She tries to give him a smile in return.

The male slowly settled down next to the doe and wrapped his tail around her to produce warmth. "Don't mention it," he shrugs and offers the doe some aid with the wounds by starting to clean them. "What's your name?" The wolfs asks, giving the doe a brief glance.

She feels already much better, the wolf's presence comforts her. She snuggles closer into his fur. Asked for her name, she answers "My name is Hopeful. You can call me Hope if you like."

"That's a nice name, Hope. I'm Beren." The wolf introduces himself. "Are you going to tell me who did this to you?" He asks with a hint of caution in his tone, worried it might be a painful topic to the doe. Though Beren was rather persistent to know the ones who did it in case he'd come in contact with them.

"Thank you, Beren." She lowers her head and answers with a sad tone in her voice "I don't know her name... She came at me and attacked me. I ran, and when I stopped I was on my own."

The female's sad tone made Beren's ears flick backwards. He turned his head to see that the doe hung her head, and it made him feel a bit guilty for a moment. "I've been in much worse situations than the one you're in, but, as you can see, I'm fine." The wolf reaches for the doe's head and lifts it up with his muzzle as if telling her to cheer up. "Wounds will heal and you'll be fine too." After that Beren fell silent again and continued treating the doe's wounds.
