As magnanimous said, it's not for everyone. I have distant relatives who were teased a little when they were in school, so their mother decided to home school them. Now they have hardly any people-skills, which makes it difficult for them to be around even family at the reunions.

Being one who was laughed at and made fun of myself, I would suggest just biting your lip and keep on fighting. I know what it's like and that it's hard when it feels like everyone thinks you're gum under their shoes, but it will get better as you get older. In high school I found a few amazing friends who were also made fun of and now we hang out all the time. College is even better now.

Anyway, I wouldn't suggest home-schooling unless you feel it's absolutely one hundred percent necessary.

As someone that was home schooled from year 1-8 I say don't do it.. Your people skills really do get effected by it..

I did years 9-11 in a public school and it was probably the best thing I've ever done. (Also the scariest)
Though I was pretty brutally bullied because I would stand up for the 'weird' kids in my year level, I wouldn't go back and change a thing.
High school is fairly crappy, I think it pretty much is for everyone.. But your better off staying/sticking it out.

And believe me it DOES get better when you get older, I look back now 2 years after I left school and wonder why things like that even used to bother me.

But all in all the majority of people you meet are gonna suck, you have to find the ones worth sticking around for. C:
