To take a screen shot you press P
To get to your screen shots you go to My Computer (or where ever you installed the program) > Tale of Tales > The Endless Forest > Sceenshots
If you use Windows Vista you'll need to click 'compatibility files' or the pictures won't show up.

Looks like someone answered your question above, but also if you do Ctrl+P it makes the tool bar you use to communicate in the game drop away just for the picture, so you can catch more forest in it.
