I LOVE that set. <3
It's now one of my favorites; I just can't figure out who the character behind it should be. |D
And I'd love her to be, if I can figure out some things to make her...well, "unique", I suppose. xD
That was a lot of skipping XD. Out of curiosity, was she running in and out of the tree to hear the sound? Hyacinth was.
hmm...as for uniqueness...well...hmm...I could ask random questions you could answer as the instinct guides you. That helps me sometimes.
Yes. Yes it was. x3
And yes she was.
"The trees sing, don't you know?"
That idea's been floating around mah head. |3 That, or talking trees. x3
She's got a few background ideas, like a connection to the Crying Idol and a connection to trees/flowers, but...they may get transferred to another character. x3
That might help indeed. At the least, it sounds fun.
"Ah, well...Maybe that's a story for another day."
Nope. xD
Here's what I'm thinking (and I hope this DOESN'T run into his; it may tie in, but I don't think it's too similar):
Well, something's been floating around in my head about the origin of the trees of the forest and how they "sing" or "talk". Perhaps they were deer at one point, now confined to trees to forever hold up the forest (and make it beautiful, of course).
Something like that.
With more details. |D
...*goes to read Seed's backstory* <3
[e]: Hey, I remember reading that. It's really sweet.
Hm. Since they were deer/humans/something other than trees at one point...She would have been living with them at that time, and would be a remnant of whatever they were.
But I'm not sure on the details. |D
So probably not deer -- the current sort of deer, then. Being a remnant of regular TEF deer is not that interesting... Try out a few ideas. I like the human idea, personally. Or maybe some other sort of deer/spirit things?
"Well...I'm not sure even I have the strength to tell it!"
*ponder*
True. I'm thinking she was probably human, indeed.
(I'm very interested in origin of the forest stories. Heh. ^^')
And that's possible. Hrm.
Hyacinth looks at her with a worried expression, but nods solemnly. Her eyes dart away for a moment, and then she looks back and smiles.
Human does attempt to answer the question of where they went...
I love origin stories, too. I love anything to attempt to explain the forest, in a way: I like to think that they're all equally true. Seed's explanation of why the trees talk is different from this character's, for example, but both are equally true.
So how she'd get from "the pre-forest thing (human or otherwise)" to TEF deer?
She smiles more nervously and nods with a little shrug.
I think when it comes to that sort of story (forest origin stories), I think all of them are right, or none of them are. It wouldn't be any fun otherwise, if I seriously held close to one theory over another.
Hmmm...Try throwing a few ideas out and see what feels interesting or right. OK, so, topic-change a bit. What's her reaction to a strange object?
So that was Hyacinth!
I was wondering. That was indeed quite fun.
In other words, erm...Hi?
I'm not sure whether or not that deer will be a character yet, so don't be surprised if you see that picto wearing various sets. |3
Oh, hey! I vote she should
I vote she should be, just because Hyacinth likes her. Silly reason, I admit. That, and the combo was a very pretty one to me, set-wise.

Well...if she has a connection to trees or flowers, what's her favorite forest plant, and is it specifically that one she's connected to?

Trees. And there is a connection there! x3
There's a story that's also going around in my head, but hey. |D

So...before this goes any further, did she used to be a tree? Because then we run smack-dab into Seed's back-story.

Thank you...hmm...so what connection would she have with these speaking/singing trees?

The Priest (another of my characters) has a forest-origin story. :3
And it has "an answer" for where the humans went.
Yes, it's really fun. :3
And true!
Hm. Probably some sort of disaster, created either by 'them' or not. It's all really sketchy. |D

And true, true. The Priest's story has made it hard for me to write a new forest origin story. >.<
Alright. ^^ She and another character might become "one", so that might help with making her more interesting in the present.
Hrm. I think she'd be rather curious about it; maybe try to get a sense of it, figure it out.

Yeah, that'd probably be a decent idea... If you could name three ideals that are most important to her, what are they?
Ideals. Hrm. -Respect for
Hrm.
-Respect for The Forest
-Balance, balance, balance.
-Perhaps respect for others.
Also, thank you for doing this. <3
No problem. I'll think of
G'night!
