Herds?

Alright, I've been looking around on Google for some TEF herds. I've seen TEH, but they're currently wiped out. I want a herd that is fun, bouncy, and energetic, and able to chat on Skype or hamachi or Teamspeak or something. If you know/have herds like this, please post in the comments! Laughing out loud

TEH was a game for the players on here, as we don't have herds on TEF. Michael and Aureia, the game's creators, dislike the idea of herds because it breaks up the game and its community atmosphere. I think the closest you can get to Herds on TEF is by having a family or a close-knit group of friends. Go in-game and just randomly play with people and make friends, as that is what this game is all about. Smiling

I've seen a lot of herds on TEF.
I was just a fawn.
Now I am a doe.
I am lonely, needing a herd.
I am an outcast.
I am a cold void.
I am FORBIDDEN.

You have seen a lot of families and groups of friends, not herds.

As for last week, that was a community event called the Rut.

I wasn't there for the Rut.

Stags fought and collected

Stags fought and collected does, kind-of like the Rut that happens in the fall IRL for most deer.

Quote:
The Rut is an organized event (a game if you will) in which stags and bucks alike meet one another over the battle ground. This is a perfect opportunity for Endless Forest Stags all over to prove their strength and power to each other. The larger stags work to herd does together, then have to work to keep them. Other stags, or even younger bucks, can come around at any time and attempt to steal your stag's herd. It's your job to keep your harem.
The audience and the ultimate judges will be the participating Does of the Endless Forest, and they may either bless or reject the displays in any way they wish.

-from the Rut Discussion blog

This happens once a year for a week on average. Afterword 'herds' usually just disband and people go back to their normal forest lives and normal groups that they hang out around.

We don't have herds here in TEF. Unless, of course, you're Russian, as they have a very, very close-knit group. But as GB said, if you want to be apart of a big bunch of deer, having a family or friends is the way to go about achieving that.

Honestly, I think people

Honestly, I think people would balk at having 3 Ruts just as much as they did having the Rut for 2 weeks.
