Because your username has hyphens in it, most likely. Unfortunately it's one of the site's quirks. Look in the URL. It should say something like
http://endlessforest.org/community/-aliya-

Remove the hyphens so that it says http://endlessforest.org/community/aliya and it will direct you to your page. It's a pretty common error, so most older players know to look out for things like that when a pictogram on the map doesn't work and will usually still be able to find you.

You may also run into pictograms which direct you to a blog page instead of a player page. These can be gotten around by adding "-0", "-1" etc until you find the player page. An example would be my deer Candlelight:
