Help? :(

Right, so I've only just downloaded this game, but when I want to quit I have to close my laptop and open it again, it's getting to be quite a pain. And also I can't play online or whatever. It keeps saying Error. I really want to play online! There's nothing wrong with my internet, and I have a decent video card or whatever.I really need help as soon as possible. All help appreciated. Thanks.

Hm, I'm not really sure what you mean about having to close your laptop to quit. To close TEF, simply press the box with the X in it, located on the menu bar on the bottom right hand side of the screen.

If you are having issues connecting, I would post on the support forum with as many details about the problem (if you are getting any specific error message or code, the details of your computer, ex.) and the Tale of Tales team will help you as soon as they have time.

... There is no shut down option? Does it crash? Do you run it in windowed or fullscreen? o:

Do you have windows vista? <- messes up alot!

Okey... Well then do as Tera said, try the support forum! You don't have any other programs running at the same time which could interfere with tef possibly? ^^

I just thought of something

I just thought of something (Harakka reminded me), make sure your firewall isn't blocking TEF from accessing the internet. You might have to add The Endless Forest to the list of 'allowed' programs.

Thanks for all y our help. I posted it on the Support Forum and managed to sort it out. All I need to do was turn my internet off and then back on again. Thanks for all your help, allthough I still do have a problem. When I log in, it says "please complete registration first" even though I allready have. Sorry to keep bugging you Sad

Hm... That sounds weird... I really have no idea, you could well try to click the verification link again, maybe it didn't worked completely? (questioning why it wouldn't...) I guess you should ask about this in the forum aswell. o:
