Hello Mother, Hello Father

Hello everyone! I'm only on my second day as a fawn, but I've had the good fortune to meet a kind pair of adult deer. They played with me (a fawn named Lillu) for quite a while, and in my head I've taken to referring to them as "Mom and Dad".

Unfortunately, I don't know how to post a picture in this blog, or even if I'm posting this where I want to be, so I'll have to rely on verbal description to identify them. "Mom" had a marbled coat, warm brown with white on the front of her neck and golden streaks and spots on her sides. Her antlers curved backward and were light gray, with circular loops in the tips. "Dad" was also brown and silky-looking, with bands of lighter brown, and very large antlers. Both of my "parents" had masks that lowered the tone of their bellow and had dark blue patches over their eyes.

"Dad" had to leave before long, and left us at the ruins. "Mom" stayed with me for quite awhile longer, and we spent a good amount of time changing my pelt, antlers, and mask in the woods near the pond. Afterward, Mom sat in the shade of a willow by the pond's edge. I sat with her a while, but eventually got impatient and bored and went off to play by myself. I returned and stayed with her for a while longer before leaving the forest.

"Mom's" pictogram was a square with a small curlicue at the top, in the middle, and "Dad's" was a large curlicue positioned vertically, with a curve and maybe some other lines (it was hard to see between his antlers). My pictogram is two downward loops on either side, with a bar across the top and in the middle a vertical line down the left with a diagonal line up to the other loop at its tip, with a tiny vertical line hanging down from the center of the bar.

Here's hoping this sounds familiar to someone.

HELLO THERE ^^’
Lillu is a beautiful name! The doe you speak of was my Shyla. She was a bit hyper today XD’ Usually she’s more subdued than that. BUT your lil fawn seemed to enjoy it so…yay! XD Shyla enjoyed her company as well.
The stag you saw was Paavo. He and Shyla are just friends…I think…sorta. YES. Fawns are awkward making! XD

So now you know who we are! :3 I hope to see Lillu in the forest again soon. Shyla needs all the friends she can get, and she’s more than happy to take your little fawn under her wing…

Darcy and Shyla's Updates/Bios

JOY!! Lillu had so much fun,

JOY!! Lillu had so much fun, and we're getting used to communicating via body language. After some minor research into the artwork around here, I recognized Shyla in one of (crazy long name that starts with an F and has Dr. House for an avatar)'s digital works of art. I thought I recognized Paavo as "Dad" in one of the pictures as well, but I was expecting his face to look different... Oh, well.

About the Paavo-and-Shyla-are-just-friends: Understood. However, Lillu still thinks of you as her "parents" XD!

By the way, all that running around in the woods when Lillu kept getting disappointed/frustrated and shaking her head- she was looking for her favorite place- there's a ring of large beech trees around a small hollow with blue plants and some stones. It's sort of near the source of the stream, but not really... always very difficult to find.

Anyway, thank you both for being so kind to little Lillu! Hope to see you again soon :3 (By the way, your pictogram is fantastic)
