There's so much to appreciate

There's so much to appreciate about this piece that it's hard to know where to start...
I love everything from their diverse poses, the fur texture and detailed foliage, their elegant lashes, how you incorporated Duva's turtledove markings, to Firyn's makeup on fleek scorn that seems so out of place on such a cute body.
I especially love the warm summer's atmosphere you captured in this, warm and sweet.

augh and all those varying plant textures, and the little gold dragonflies~
so many little details without feeling cluttered, like little treats for you eye to find as they look through the piece.

I would absolutely buy like a little postcard or print of something like this and put it in my office haha <3

Bird markings and ink go hand

Bird markings and ink go hand in hand, I didn't expect them to turn out so nicely and I hope I didn't stay too far from what was imagined for her , although I wish i had a second chance at doing Firyn's face, I've never before done frontal deer faces. Let alone it's been ages since I last drew a deer. The whole scene seemed really warming and comforting. If not even inspired from lil story booklets I used to have.
Now for the image reimagined in say watercolours. I'd reckon it would fit right into a storybook.
Firyn looks really mature as how you draw him. And now he's here like a little scowly sweet potato lol.

Thank you phantom, I think I should work on such little scenes when I feel inspired. Just by having my characters hang around others or the roleplay happening around here. Some are really inspirational.

The second title for the image must be like, 80% eyelashes 20% roe deer.

Ugh gosh this is so pretty. I love the serenity of the scene. The long lashes, the insane detail on the flora, and the expressions and postures of everyone involved. It's so fitting! Sigh, love Roe deer so much. So glad you and Cannibriel joined us last night.
The detail on the fur is amazing!

I hope cannibriel can join Duva and Firyn them more, that was really lovely.


I am amazed how everyone likes the fur. I've got little confidence for ballpoint fur in fact x3 But then again it's very encouraging to see those very automated, learned strokes get reckognition. But I'm very curious as of what makes them so appealing still x3

On the other hand, i've done so much folliage with a pen, realistic and non, all without prior sketching that I only seem to add more and more to add more natural life into a page.

Iv've really got muse to illustrace other such sceneries.
