Hi Jester, Blue here. At where I am at, the forest is usually the most active at the unearthly hour around 4am, heh. If you measure the time that this comment was posted, it would be approx. 7 hours (edited) from now. We do hope that you'll stay on, as Omi would love to meet and hang out with Merlin. Furthermore, she would love to be able to introduce Merlin and for him to join in alongside with the lovely friends that she has made in her time at the forest, in times when he might be looking for some fun or just simple companionship. Omi and myself have been back quite recently too, just 3 weeks ago. Personally, seeing familiar forestlings, or simply knowing they are around somewhere, even though most may be away or resting, the quietness that the forest brings doesn't feel so dead anymore, but can feel rather comforting. Nowadays too, Omi appreciates just laying with friends, or alone, as she works on other things. I look forward to meeting you in the forest grounds, and would be more than glad to help you with your set too if you still require. : )

Aw, I'm sorry you had that experience! There are times when more people are on, and also a lot of activity is on Discord nowadays, since the Forums can be unstable.

Hello there, and welcome back to The Endless Forest! I understand how you feel, the forest can often seem rather quite and lonely but I think you'll come to find there's hidden gems of connection sprinkled here, there, and just about everywhere.

A lot of players these days are often working, busy, or doing other things so characters generally are found to be resting or sleeping. But I really do hope you stay around and continue to lovingly "scream" at people. Most of the time that's what is done to wake up a fellow deer anyway!

oh, you and me both! i find that discord really takes the magic out of it for me... but i unfortunately also understand why people migrated there, because the community site had become truly unusable until fairly recently.

i am a nostalgic creature; i miss ye olde days where the community site was the place to interact, and interactions over instant messaging (MSN and Skype, back then) were limited mostly to close friends. on the other hand, i think discord offers a certain transparency that was missing back then since the community site was (and is) unmoderated - there are other people around to kind of keep an eye on how people are behaving and whether they're doing so inappropriately or not...

in the end though, although i barely play anymore, i too miss when you could hop inforest and a large amount of deer were actively up and playing. i think as we've all gotten older, we tend to be busy with other things - i certainly don't have the time to wander around the same static game-world for hours that i used to, even though i wish i did!

anyway. perhaps one day the stars will align and you and i will both be inforest at the same time. unlikely, but never impossible!
