Hello!

I am a new fawn, and have been having a lovely time in the forest. I do need a bit of help though, I cannot figure out how to find the pics I took on my computer. I would like to post one here. I know I can also post my pictogram. I know how to look it up, but not how to save it correctly, so that you all can see it. Any directions for a non-computer person would be helpful!

By the way, my fawn's name will be Lal, hope you like her! I'll try not to be annoying as I learn the ropes Smiling

All of the pictures you took

All of the pictures you took should be in your screenshots folder.

XP directions:
Start Menu>All Programs>The Endless Forest 3>Screenshots.
(I have no idea where to find it in vista or windows 7)
Once you find your picture open it in a picture editing program and upload it to a image hosting site. Smiling

To save your picto:
Go to the player list page OR your account page.
Hit the button on your keyboard that says "prt sc" or Print screen.
Open up an image editing program.
Paste the image onto the blank canvas.
Resize/color/what have you and save.
Upload it to an image hosting site and feel free to post it around.

Here's the way I do it to post/find the TEF pics ^^

Fisrt, I go to the start button on my computer. Then it will say "All Programs." click it. Then looks for TheEndlessForest on the list of your computer programs. Click that. Then it will list some things and it should say Screenshots. Click it. Then open up a new internet window and go to photobucket.com and create an account. You can use it to upload the picture. Then copy and paste the IMG code below the picture that you've uploaded and post it here ^^

The pictures you take are in

The pictures you take are in a folder called "screenshots". You can find it by going to Program Files > Tale of Tales > The Endless Forest > screenshots. If you have Windows Vista or 7, there will be a button called 'compatibility files' that you press and they'll show up.

As for your pictogram, you can't save an image of it from that page directly, but you can press "print screen" on your keyboard and paste that into something like Photoshop or Paint and save it then.

Also, where is the player list page so that I can copy my pictogram?

Since you have Windows Vista,

Since you have Windows Vista, you need to find a button or something called "compatibility files" in the screenshots folder in order for the screenshots to show up.

Thanks to everyone for their

Thanks to everyone for their input! I ended up having to draw my picto (it's now posted on the 'other' page).

I still can't figure out how to make an avatar for this site. I promised to ask no more questions, so I won't. Smiling

I found the video about getting a closeup of my fawn, but haven't succeeded in actually doing it yet!

Still, I am having a fabulous and relaxing time in the forest; hope to meet more of you soon!
