someone told me LOVE is a biochemical reaction.....
someone told me LOVE is an instinct......
someone told me LOVE is just sex dressed up........
SOMEONE WAS WRONG
LOVE is holding the hand of someone who is dying and knowing there is nothing you can do
LOVE is taking someone else's pain because you do not want them to be alone
LOVE is knowing when the sex is through that the real thing starts and heals
LOVE is going back into your darkness to help someone through their's
LOVE is reaching out and connecting with someone different from you
LOVE is standing up and yelling when someone is mistreated and saying STOP
real love hurts sometimes (tough love is all that can done in some situations) and then it heals
(This has nothing to do with the rut going on --- have fun)
Let me be Someone, who tells
This is so beautiful and so
To PLK217 I have never heard
I have never heard this, but I really really like the idea. It will give me something to ponder on. love does have many meanings. this is a safe place to let some things out--thank you for your wisdom.
To Chickenwhite Thank you
Thank you for the compliment and supporting. For the last several days it has been true, but who knows what it will be tomorrow. Thanks. You all are the best and your kindess is always appreciated.
This is beautiful. I would
I would also like to say that LOVE is something that should be handled gently and taken seriously. Don't LOVE someone just to say you do. You LOVE someone for who they are- they're not supposed to be some trophy you parade around when you're a freshman in High School..
just sayin'
When LOVE happens, it can
To Bayleen, I totally agree
I totally agree with you. You have to love the good parts and the bad parts that is why it is true love. Nothing is better than to be with someone who will share your darkness and love you for it anyway. I hope you have someone like that in your life.
To MissButterflyCaught I
I have found that true that even after breaking up if you truly love someone no matter if they are gone, or have changed, you still love them. You learn to love what was and to give the greatest gift of all is to love them enough to let them go on their path and you make a new one. True, true words for anyone.
