Ok I am keeping this short and to the point. This is not to cause drama (this will be deleted if that happens)
I’m just drawing people’s attention to it.
Pelt spells there are two ways to get them
1. Sharing spell data
2. From other deer.
Over the last month. Every single time I have went ooc to help people get pelts almost every deer we have tried to get pelts form has got up and ran, started fighting, or poofed.
I’m tired of it.
I know this may be in some deer’s character or what have you but please keep in mind not everyone knows this.
Is it really so bad to wait a little bit to let people get pelts ?
at the very least if you do not want to help bow and say no, DON’T start attacking or run away.
i'm sorry i had to make this blog. I do not want to make anyone mad (i hate drama)
but please this is just a thing to keep in mind
also *quote goes to trigger. She said it better than me <33*
I urge those who dislike being used in this manner to please consider why they're being used, and if you cannot stand the noise, simply turn down your volume. If you get accidentally spelled, is it really so hard to sneeze it off?
On the flip side, for those who are part of spell-spamming parties, please be considerate of the sleeping deer! No one likes to be trampled or laid on top of, so please try to be aware of their space, and move away slightly to cast the spell if you don't want to risk hitting the sleeping deer.
This is a problem that really doesn't need to become anything more than it is! We are a cooperative forest, let's keep it that way!
AMEN! I totally agree, I have
I'm guilty of that, at least
.
Yeah, I noticed that today.
But on a more positive note, when Illrose helped Peach getting her pelt here the other day, the sleeping deer woke up
when they had found the right pelt, so I believe the player just waited until they were finished. ( Know that wasn't what this was about, just thought I should say it. ) n__n
You make a very good point!

thanks trigger you worded it
I totally agree. Though I
Though I admit about 50% of the time I accidentally stand up to say hi because I don't realize it fast enough. I know that's frustrating too. |D;
Oh man that has to be
tally lol
I'm around a lot and more
I'm just saying it now.
I'm glad I'm not the only one
I personally always leave my deer asleep if I see others using them for pelts. So, yanno, if you guize ever want pelts, feel free to come sit by Jester or Axel anytime. I'll leave them asleep til you're done :3
Agreeing with everyone up
When this happens to me,
What I hate the most is not being able to gain a pelt spell because of others hanging around the sleeping deer!
Download Deer Tracker v1.0
Haha, quite
Usually I try to pick out a deer that I know is not a roleplayer, or with an unfamilair picto. And if I do have to pick out someone that roleplays I try to apologise to the deer, rather odd that I feel the need to do that ;x XDD
Though I've had my "Rawr you're just abusing me now" moments too. Especially having to sneeze off 30 layers of pelts because of failure is annoying.
And yes, Sluggs, that is SO annoying. But not everyone knows that's the cause to not getting pelt spells. I know that if you sit down second, you tend to get the pelt spell and the deer that sat down first won't XD.. But mostly when I'm helping someone with multiple people, try to wait untill the first deer gets up again.
Another proof that I probably
I never had a problem getting a pelt spell or being then attacked by the sleeper. Only rarely they wake up, strange.
(well, of course there is one exception. Night Shade wakes always up when I sit to her. But she has a reason for this and, to be honest, she wakes only after the amount of time when I usually got the spell already Not that the spell was what I ever wanted)
Agree totally with you When
When i see deers castings spells , i try to lay there until they have finished
This should really not be a problem
I've been trying to get the
So far i've gotten 2 people to understand that In the forest xD Others just...dance or run away the moment I stand up.
As annoying as it might be for some people,
I think the easiest way to get people to help you is to cast a spell on them then use the 'pawing' action at whatever you get the spell from, eg. a sleeping deer.
But I really appreciate it when people DO help. I can never find those people on here, though :c
*thumbs up*
*also thumbs up* oh no idea
oh no idea if that was already mentioned because... ah i admit i am too tired to read right now but...
sometimes you simpl _have_ to sit 'on' a sleeper because else you simply don't get a pelt when there are other deer aaround and too close.
Is it really that of a catastrophe if some pixel touch each other for a few seconds...?
I can understand when a deer sits for hours 'on' yours... that's something i don't always like as well but hell for a few seconds to help someone else to look pretty?
I agree with AliceV on that
I actually have to lay on the other deer to get that glowing ring to appear to be able to get the spell...
Even if you're rping, you
Just to let everyone know, all my deer are welcomd to act as pelt machines :3
I don't usually state my
Is it really such a terrible thing? I don't see why people flip out so much when their sleeping deer is spellspammed; to me, I see it as someone sort of leaving a message saying 'hay, I passed by' or something. And really, when deer sit 'in' your sleeping deer, why all the irritation? 'Personal bubble oh nooo!' Pff. It is necessary to sit in them to get a pelt quite often - for me, its all the time. Otherwise I don't get the pelt.
I dunno, I just don't see the need for ranting and such xD I know this wasn't meant to cause drama, and I'm sorry for being such a bitch, but I keep quiet far too often.
Chillax, guys.
Yes ^
I personally haven't
I don't mind being used for spellspamming and I don't mind getting accidentally spellspammed. I don't care if I get "trampled" and I don't see being "used" for spellspamming as invasion of personal space. I have no problem with taking a minute to sneeze off unwanted stuff, or even close the game and reload my spelldata if it's really that much to handle.
Sorry for getting icky about this and repeating what has been repeated in all the comments before (didn't read them), but it kinda bothers me that people get offended by what is such a fundamental part of the game. :x Players are not being disrespectful or rude, they are playing TEF.
For me, I personally don't
It's not hard to sneeze them off yes, but when you have about 10 or more pelts sometimes it does get a bit of a hassle. Then again, with Spell Saver I simply reload it up and that's the end of that. In the end, everyone will find something to complain about and that's just how it goes XD
And to add to Trigger's quote. Remember we ALL started out in the same boat as someone else, be it without a pelt, antlers or the like. Be respectful because you know you were in the same boat at least once
"Your efforts are insignificant! I carry you to your deaths!"
people dont like when you lay
