Hey guys, just thought I'd write something as a warning to all non-antlered does out there...
Mystress, Kaoori, and Walter encountered a deer, who was quite interested in Kaoori... in all the wrong ways. Myst reflects.
--------------
Remember clearly, I cannot for most has only become a motion of blur within my mind. The gentle, and beautiful Kaoori nuzzled Walter gently, who's tired eyes watched the horizon intently... My hooves merrily skipped to the ground at which they stood. They greeted me with a simple bow a welcoming nuzzle.
To my right, a distant stag galloped. His antlers were large, and his face was determined. I stepped back, feeling my legs buckle under me, and back up. Was he truly excited, or were his intentions different? For an instant my mind flashed, as the stag came to a screeching halt past the deep bow I had generously given. On the dirt he slid, and before I could right myself, his fur was against Kaoori. For just an instant I wanted to laugh, embarrased for the poor fellow, who had only embarrassed himself... I wished to turn, and bow again, sure to make him feel welcome... before doing so, there was no motion at all to back up from this strange stag, or to retreat, gather himself and bow, wanting to become one of the small gathering...
He simply stared intently into Kaoori's eyes, who had now turned her face in embarrasment or being firmly uncomfortable with the stag. Blame her, I could not. Her slender legs, stepped back timidly, with an uncomfortable curtsey, and lowered eyes...
"Hey!" Walter huffed after a few more moments of the uncomfortable staring passed. "Leave the lady..." Walter took a few firm steps toward the stag, who if only for an instant regarded him with a sniker and then proceeded to brush against the soft fur of Kaoori once more.
"Shut up, old fool." Walter's muscles flexed in the sunlight, and his sharp hooves that had wounded many, raised. For a moment, I felt myself cower in the slightest way in reaction to the might of Walter above us. Kaoori jumped out of the path of the hooves that crashed firmly among the grass and earth. It shook the earth. A roar shattered the serenity of the forest, and his strong neck arched.
I took this moment of the stags distration to dash over to Kaoori, who was quite flustered, and held her ears low. I stood comfortingly beside the poor dear, and pushed my nose against her cheek lightly.
"Hey." The roaring and thrashing continued. "G-guys. Stop it! Walter... P-please. The stag's attention was now turned to Kaoori, who shrunk slightly to see she had attracted most un-wanted attention. As swiftly as a snake, he slithered to Kaoori once more. He circled behind us, with a swiftness and agility that made my hair raise. His side brushed against our hinds before I could turn quick enough. A seductive smile, that was most unholy was twisted on his face...
"Your intentions are dark for the young one." I spoke. He could not hear my voice. It was beyond his hearing... I stomped my foot roughly, seeing his attention was still locked on the young flower at my side. Kaoori retreated quickly, and where she once stood seconds before, Walter now loomed. What I once thought useless and stupid, become logical and nessasary as the stag refused to stay away from the doe. " I swear to frikin' god buddy, your ass better be seen in the distance in about three seconds flat, or it'll be kicked into the ground."
Soon a dance unfolded. A crooked tango, to where I was standing between the girl and the stag, with Walter not far behind at all. For only an instant, the stag caught her, and blocked her from running. He nuzzled her roughly and long... my vision was becoming clear. Shapes were no longer souls. They were figures and bodies... it was the plane on which every moral being lived, which I was only welcomed for an instant. "Demon, snake of everything of sin!! Leave this place, or on the ground your head will be crushed by my heel!!" The stag jumped in surprize, breaking the dance for everyone, who were now staring at me. His eyes were fearful. I lowered my antlers, not at him-- but for Kaoori. Even in the state of mind I was in, I wouldn't have ever advanced upon him with my antlers lowered... Yes, you can hear me now, can you not? It takes a mortal voice for your ears to hear, I thought I'd never sink myself so low... your mind is weaker and more shut than the foulest of God's beasts! I will say it once more-- leave here, and touch naught the girl again."
Moments passed of silence and stillness, and when the stag had made no move, Walter jumped at the chance. He reared and with a crash and a stram of garnet blood streaking down his back, the stag fled... and we wallowed within our victory.
Wow, excellant portrayal of the moment. o.o
I actually saw that as it happened (was Mar Sart, who was nearby with a sprained limb thus unable to jump in and help).
But I wonder if the stag's intentions were really all that bad? Sometimes I'll accidentally walk forward and my computer will freeze so I'll just be standing there awkwardly close to another deer. :/ Do you know the deer who did it?
Eh, well, either way, it was awesome writing. I loved Myst's outburst at the end. XD And the description of the stag... it's guys like that make me fear men. :/
I don't know the deer who did it. But about five minutes of poor Kaoori having this guy (almost literally, but I'll keep it G) shoved up her rear, and nuzzling her uncontrollably, (all before bowing!! the nerve! LOL!) made me think he was up to no good...
@sarita: I'm pretty nervous around men too, I'm glad I"m not the only one. Unfortunately, whoever this stag was was pretty persistent in being harassing, not only to my deer, but to quite a few others too. I've never seen the picto before, so I can't place any names.
@Mystress: Kaoori was pretty confused about the whole thing today.. as honestly was I..I mean, not only two minutes into greeting everyone and this whole thing happened. You pretty much sum everything up though. You have a great way with words. I love how you write things. And Kaoori thanks you for being there.

Thats for sure, only Myst can be happy that he thought she was a stag... So he wasn't behind her every second, not giving her a chance to defend anyone lol... He was such a jerk... Myst was happy to be there. Thanks I'm so glad you loved my writing! (:
@ Sarita again: OH! So glad you loved Myst's outbirst... Lol, it was hard for her to do, but gosh dang it did he need an earful... LOL!
Verdy: You're right it wasn't just Kaoori, but she seemed to be the one who was really bothered the most.... Walter did an amazing job of actually beating him. I thought I was going to die when I saw the stag curled (logging off) under Waltys feet... XD
Io Rez: Aww it's ok. Queze wanted to be there too. There's no telling what's going to happen in the forest... >.> Myst is glad she was there too.... (:
