this is a srs post but I'm not really in a srs mood so I'm just going to sort of say it ok
and this isn't actually aimed at anyone in particular, and I'm certainly not trying to change the way anyone plays but I was reminded of how much I hate this ok
okay
awesome
wonderful
vunderbarr
I'm actually okay with claiming spots or whatever inforest. I mean if it's special or your character just likes to sit there or you as the player just like to sit there that's awesome and stuff but
when characters chase other characters away that really
really
irritates me
I know it's in-character and stuff but I dunno it still seems like jackassery to me
maybe y'know the characters could just chill in that place together
unless it's a grave that's a bit more complex but let's assume it's not a grave
like idk a log or something or a patch of flowers
yeah
I'm not guiltless when it comes to having special spots inforest
Taliene had the spot of sunlight by the river; Rut has the slanted rock under the playground; Lorak had his own grave; Tybalt had dandelion hill; Saxophone has the space behind the tree in the Ruins; Keith has a little corner by all the graves in the Ruins; Nirvana has a tree on that hill by the Blue Bowl; any ooc deer have a particular grave I like to sit at.
Most of my characters wouldn't get all pissy over that simply because they wouldn't care, but for example Lorak, Tybalt, Sax and Keith are/were highly aggressive characters, territorial to some extent and yet I still didn't see the point of chasing other characters away from somewhere
I mean chase them away from your[s]self[/i] yes
but if they're sitting somewhere or you're sitting somewhere and idk
just
it's unnecessary
haha
ha
this is
I can't
guys I can't even be serious when I'm ranting
help
*thumb up*
Two thumbs up
Three thumbs up By the way,
By the way, Quad's favorite spot is his pillar at the Ruins, he acts like he gets mad when someone's standing on it but only because it's his bed and he doesn't like to get dirt on it. But if someone's standing on it I won't chase them off of it, so...yeah..
Amen. Oh, and four thumbs up.
Oh, and four thumbs up.
Chillin' together is sooo
I agree wholeheartedly with
No rock, stump, sunspot, flower patch, tree, etc can be owned. The forest is for everyone.
I frankly find it immature and inconsiderate regardless of whatever excuse(s) a player (or their character) has to attack anyone that ventures near what they claim as "theirs."
yep, agreed.
*thumbs up* I agree totally
