The forest smelled of pine and flowers, and the sun broke through the tree tops as if it couldn't wait to shine down on the ground. Urro rose form the wet grass to nibble on some mushrooms nearby. These mushrooms were orange and tasted bitter and salty. Urro sticks out his toungue in disgust and sets off to find some berries. After walking and leaping over rocks for hours, Urro finally comes across the biggest, juiciest, patch of berries he's ever seen.
Just as he settles down to munch on them, a gust of wind carries the scent of trouble into Urro's nostrils. A buck, a big one too. A strong, scary, towering buck. He doesn't look happy either. The buck starts to snort as a warning, Urro unsure of the situation starts to back away slowly. The buck snorts again, louder this time, he is now hovering over Urro. He stomps his hoof beating the ground. Other fawns start to stare, they know what is happening. Urro turns to run when he is knocked across the ground in the back by the huge antlers the buck has, he was flung into a tree like a twig. Just as the buck rears up to trample him, he stops, places his feet on either side of Urro's head just missing him, and stares deep, deep into Urros eyes. The buck stops to stand the for a long time breathing heavily, determining if he is a threat. The buck steps away to continue eating and courting with the other females. Urro quickly rises from the ground bolting off into the forest. That night Urro goes to sleep in the last bit of sunlight under a large oak tree, sheltered, but very hungry. After the incedent, Urro had eaten some grass by the pond, it wasn't very soon though before it had gotten dark, so he headed ino the forest and ended up here. Tomarrow he will find some different berries... Safer ones.
