As you can see, I dropped the DotD markings around the eyes. I've also decided on a name: Ivor. Whaddyathink?

As for the picture, two points.
One, as this was done traditionally on a very small bit of paper, it was very hard to get the mirror eyes going realistically! SO I had to resort to vagueness.
Two, Ivor/the-deer doesn't see in that weird neon way, the picture just.... turned trippy.
