It may be known to you, dear reader, that I am one of those with a multitude of deer, very possibly owning the most deer in the Community. That was the case last I checked, anyway. So I promised myself I would never make another deer; I have all I need.
Therefore, when the idea for this one came through, I ignored it.
As the idea fermented in my mind, I braced myself, and ignored it even further.
When the new pictograms arrived, I began almost looking for an excuse to make it, but still held my resolve.
The last straw was getting the following item in a Christmas Cracker; I decided to perceive it as a 'sign' and joyfully made the deer. 8D



You will note that this cheap, plastic, tiny item is the same shape (if not colour) as the eye markings of the DotD mask, with a mirror where the eye should be. The reason I could take this as a sign is because this is my idea:



This deer has mirror glass in his eye socket, for reasons I'd like to keep to myself for the mo. Obviously this caused a lot of issues as a fawn, and he has grown a massive amount of grumpiness, sarcasticness, distrust of other deer and an unkempt fringe to hide his eyes.

....da-daaaaa. C: I can't decide on a name at present, but I'm happy leaving that 'til later. They usually turn up in the end.
