when you start TEF the game hit "Esc." that will bring up the menue..then hit "Network" then just log in there and you should start as a fawn after that

Deer with a human face isn't a new idea: Frida Kahlo painted herself as a deer and the Forest Spirit in Spirited Away had a human-ish face. The creators of the game sure liked the idea themselves, maybe because it makes them.. well, more human. Personally I think it has a lot of great aesthetic value, but if you don't like it, your fawn can wear masks when it grows up c:
