My deer ran into quite epic fight between Saosin and Walter... Even though she was pretty much panicking around I managed to get some cool screenshots and thought to share. ^^
Looks like those two don´t like each other much?
...alright seriously...Saosin stop with all the fighting D| what is your stags problem? Yes I'm sounding naggy...but all your stag ever seems to do is like beating the snot out of others. Rarely have I seen them not fighting.

Man, how annoying it is to have people yell or faint as soon as they see a 'fight' (if you can call rearing and looking angry 'fighting'). TEF would be such a bore without a minimum of action (which is why I created Doom, the evil deer )

And no, the forest doesn't need "ebil" to have "pweace". That's something of "irl". Where people slaughter eachother so their neigbours can say "Look, we don't have that, so we have peace!".

Saosin is not evil, and it's not like he just starts a fight without a reason.
The only fighting he's been doing lately is friendly sparing.
If you really think that this is all he seems to be doing then you aren't paying attention to the other things.
And you don't have to read his bio..
He does not attack deer unless they attack first, or just to defend someone, or in this case, if he has fought a certain deer before. I think that is pretty normal.

DON't remove them just because some people are peace maniacs (besides, this debate is interesting). NO the forest is not in danger of becoming a giant battleground for two reasons:
1. The 'fighting' actions are only made to look cool since you don't really inflict any damage whatsoever. It's no fun performing the same actions over and over again for hours.
2. The players of this game are too desperate to maintain peace for any large scale battle (in such a way that it's hard to show a 'fighting' picture without getting scowled)
Besides, there are like what ...lets say four war-like deer in the game. And I know this isn't a deer survival game, but still remember that deer are very rambunctious, no matter how peaceful they look. Why not give a little realism from time to time?
Seriously folks, it's true that some people just can't stand violence and I understand that, but then again what can another deer do to you besides run around you and pretend he's hurting you? All you have to do is just ignore him and do whatever you want. Trust me, No deer is stupid enough to just go on 'attacking' someone who doesn't even react.

"Fighting" was simply considered play fighting because Michael and Auriea made it clear that this game is an environment of fun and beauty. Any action in such an environment is normally assumed to be playful and not meant to be taken personally.
Things used to be much more relaxed in the Forest. Now it's like walking on eggshells.

I rather enjoy that shot of Walter's butt in the last picture. There's such a colourful charm to it.. Quite beautiful, I must say..
The other pictures are great too. I always wanted to see someone catching a mid-fight close up like this, but it's hard to do when you're the participant. ^_^

Hm, actually at least I am a lot more bothered by this kind of sudden verbal fights here in community site than random deer lowering his antlers at me at the forest... Even though my deer probably won´t like it if its done in the aggressive way, me as a player can deal with it. You CAN just ignore it, after all. And actually, I don´t remember that even happening to me but just one time. And if some other deer spar with each other, it won´t really affect other people anyway... just leave, and don´t stay to watch. This is completely different thing from the "fawn beater"-thing before, isn´t it? <_<
Yeah, now I´ll just let this one be, my worst worries were mostly causing negative attention to Saosin and Walter, and if they think posting these is fine, I´m glad. =)

Glad that you liked them too, it was pretty much just luck that I started to rotate the camera and realized that I could get nice close-ups of the action.
